Hey Paul and all involved on this project, congrats and top job so far getting the old LC (Nugget) driving on this episode. She sounds unreal, I’ve always loved the sound of the old red Holden sixes. Reminds me of my old HR Holden decades ago. When you finally have her finished and back in Sydney, please have her on display at a few car meets, I would be thrilled to see it in person. Again awesome job mate, your dedication and commitment is unbelievable. Cheers….👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah Baby!!!!.............the smile and that comment, I just saw your pain of 20+ days go away. Ripper work and thanks for the update. Almost there brother just keep it going, cheers.🤟🤟
Absolutely mega Loved every minute of it You have inspired me to get into completing my project and to to be more productive with my time Thank you so much Cheers Fogz 😁👍
Chook crap on the floor? Who cares when you get to this stage. The look on your face filling from an old military style jerry can = priceless!! Good job you!! Make sure you get a front end alignment before your trip home.
Awesome Paul you have worked like a Trojan - keep up the effort for a few more bro. I had a smile nearly as big as yours seeing you drive Nugget. Insane effort! 👍👍👍 🍺🍺
Built a VL not quite that bad but close, worth all the pain & hard work the first time you drive it! That grin says it all mate 👍 don’t even know you but proud of your efforts!!!!
such a fun car to drive i've had a couple through the years miss my coupe was great in the bush or on normal roads drive it like it was on rails everywhere but more fun in the gravel
Just ordered my Shirt. I love how you guys have taken and old skool LC Torana, that was ready for the heap. Into a car that i wish and envy i could own lol. Great work lads :)
Awesome , I have an LC that I really should get back on the road again. Your work is inspiring me to get back into it. One tip I can think of , try to avoid using full lock in car parks (a little is ok) , the LC/LJ staring geometry isn't the best. Bits in the standard clutch mechanism tend to break (well it did for me with the One Tonner clutch) . The wire/rod that goes through the fire wall broke on me at least once and the part that the rod hooks into broke where it pivots on the clutch pedal
Yeah cheers for that! Yep they missed out on the Ackerman angle on turns, easy to engineer into it so no idea why they didn’t. I’ll keep my eye on the clutch mechanism but so far it’s been working great. Cheers
I thought Rare Spares improved. Bought some VH - CM rear lower 1/4s years ago. Wasn't even close to fitting. Had to return for a refund. Any Chrysler guys looking for rust sections. Try Adelaide. Nation Wide Performance.
Besides the crappy rust panels. You took a bush wreck and gave it a second chance. That's something to brag about. Not too many go the extra mile to save a piece of Australian history. It doesn't need to be perfect. Just needs to survive.
What’s the black paint your using in the boot? Seen it plenty of times but don’t know what it is or where to buy it. I wanna use it on my XE. Please and thank you. Also congrats on the build it’s amazing 😍
Wow, Paul, she moves under her own power. At least ya air-conditioning works well until you put the windscreen in lol. How did the column shift go i know they can be temperamental at time's. Have a great day. Choppersrule1
How’s that 3 on the tree treating you….. cnuts of things…. Better have a backup plan mate. Would’ve loved to have kept mine, but the damn column f**ked up on mine…🤦♂️🤬🤬 Safe travels mate. 👍👌

Yeah they’re pretty bad, you should see the rear beaver panel they sent. It’s terrible!!! 🤷🏻♂️
For the price. Should be at least 80% good.
@demolitionman9307 agreed. This panel has more crinkles than a plastic shopping bag
Besides the crappy rust panels. You took a bush wreck and gave it a second chance. That's something to brag about. Not too many go the extra mile to save a piece of Australian history. It doesn't need to be perfect. Just needs to survive.
I used charger rear quarters for my VJ ute

I usually use POR15 but couldn’t get it in Perth. I ended up using Rust paint from the hardware over Penitrol
Wow, Paul, she moves under her own power. At least ya air-conditioning works well until you put the windscreen in lol. How did the column shift go i know they can be temperamental at time's.
Have a great day.

Top work mate!
What was the brush on stuff you used in the boot? I do have a similar brush on chassis black sealant but not sure I got the right one
Cheers, I hit it with penitrol first then just some White Night rust paint from the hardware
