Aside from the first segment, this is good advice for everyone! Regarding "no _____" bits in profiles, I believe people have the right to be attracted (and not attracted) to whomever and whatever they like. The problem is when they then blurt it out rudely... I can see both sides, but I personally wouldn't want to offend or hurt someone's feelings when there's no reason for it. Then again, I agree strongly with your idea of spreading more kindness than negativity in the world. I'd much rather make someone smile if I can, and no matter what you're generally attracted to, there are always exceptions to every rule. Wouldn't it suck if you turned away someone who could go on to be a great match for you because you had a crappy "no _____s" in your profile?

I'm an Asian living in a predominantly white country, I don't have a model's body nor do I look like a gorgeous Instagram guy so needless to say I don't get much attention. I also understand that everyone has preferences - even I do - but I sometimes hope that people wouldn't let race, height or body get in the way of being friends. On a dating platform, however, I wouldn't call telling what kind of people someone finds attractive racist, but just a matter of taste. You never should say never, but I can hardly imagine being attracted by an Asian boy, but of course having Asian friends is fine, just not as sex partners. Others may say the same about Caucasian types or blacks. That's ok with me, although it would mean that this person won't be attracted by me or my partner.

If you are typically not attracted to asian men, that's fine. Leave it off your profile and keep it to yourself. If someone messages you who is asian, you can then respond to them with, "Sorry, not interested." The concept is not a difficult one to understand. And let's be honest, it's not like your inbox is going absolutely insane every single night, and it leaves you absolutely no time to respond to all the asian men wanting to get on your stuff.

Your tips were just fine for getting and/or being on a site. However, getting onto the site and getting all set up once again is beyond frustrating. Surge is no different that any other site. The want a user name and then a password and as soon as you type one in the never next page when they ask you to repeat it to get it they say that's not right..try again and the whole cycle just repeats and repeats. Just getting started makes these sites frustrating and then if you should get in the second thing you see is...for more $$$$ we can help you so much better.
I think people that have far too high expectations for meet ups should be more understanding that the other person has a life for example someone that works hitting on a student should understand the study time
