This video is beautifully made and I thank you for showing the process of how the guitars are created. It shows the love and care that is put into each and every one. The music is also perfect for this video. I have a 1998 Raimundo 180 guitar and it's my pride and joy. I love it!!!
Cuando las palabras se tornan insuficientes para expresar ciertas cosas del alma, para eso está la guitarra. Es muy hermosa la música que han puesto, una maravilla!
Last week I bought a 130 model. I felt in love with that guitar from the very first moment and I'd like to thank everyone who worked for it. I have an important question about the maintenance: in the paper that I received with the guitar it's written to not hydrate the fretboard (I suppose with the lemon oil) more than once a year. Is it correct? Greetings from Rome
+Alan .F The strings are a very personal issue. We use Savarez Crystal Corum Red/Blue and D'Addario EXP J45 and J46. You can use the strings you feel better with them
I have Raimundo 146, Spruce top, It's amazing how the tonal quality continues to become better with age, for the price-it rivals guitars much more expensive, ..I sincerely applaud the beauty that you create..
Yes but if I'm to be honest I prefer to buy direct from Spain, for example the model 148 cost 955 euros on a Spanish dealers website compared to 1790 euros from uk dealer. The last few guitars I have bought I got them direct from Spain.
I have a 180 1998. I'm told the wood used is no longer allowed to be used. No problem there but would love to know what it is or any other info on that year. Sometimes it's so hard to put down when playing. Sounds so good. What are the strings used?
Yes we have. You can contact with Mr. Brian Whitehouse, our distributor for UK. info@spanishguitar.co.uk- www.spanishguitar.co.uk. He will give you all the information about our double top guitars
my 128 is from 1989 and the reason I stopped playing, terrible made, the strings are 20mm over the last metal part, it was simple a buthurt playing in my young years on it.. the only positive side is, this wood smells still fantastic! ;D
Wood instrument like this requires care and proper storage conditions. What you describe is most probably casued by improper handling over the years. I saw some guitars damaged the way you describe by using acoustic metal strings (much higher tension). Another possibility is the hunmidity that it might have been exposed to.
@@reasonator47 Not in my case, its bad made. I played also on a guitar for about 5000€ and its a huge difference, dont expect much out of a cheap 300€ guitar.
I own the Raimundo Selmer replica jazz guitar and I love it so much. Thanks
I'm playing the same Raimubdo guitar since 1991..... I'm very happy to see like my guitar has made... thank you very much
