  • Fimed at Geiranger fjord in Norway. Newly developed docking system for cruise ships at ports where permanent dock is not possible. Avoids necessity of tender service with small boats. Very convenient for passengers. Allows small ports to attract larger cruise ships.

    A very good engineering seawalk ...we love this.It is convenient for medium size Cruise ships to visit Geiranger fijord during Spring and Summer. The most beautiful place on earth.

    i was on the very first cruise to use this, the celebrity infinity. so much better than tender boats.

    Are they all propeller driven or just some? What happens if the ship pushes against them , do they compensate? Intriguing.
