I bought the Molten Valkeen whistle last year and It’s my new favorite whistle. I used use the fox 40 classic but now the Fox 40 is somewhat retired as the Valkeen has now taken my number one spot.
It still remains as my most used whistle for soccer. I use the rubber fingergrip that it comes with so if I have to write something or use my right hand for direction, I can just tuck it in with my thumb so the players are not confused with delaying restart with another whistle eg. top/outside of the 18 going towards the goal on a fouled direct free kick.
Do you ever use other frequencies of Valkeen? That is, do you blow the whistle with the bottom or top holes closed? Can you tell me a good situation to use such a lowe frequency tune?
Do you know if it's possible to buy a seperate cmg or any type of mouth guard for this whistle? I tend to bite down pretty hard on my molten and there is already a small crack and I fear its going to break.
Let's hope there's no small chips on your front teeth either. I got it even using Fox40 CMG for Basketball but now switched to Molten Blazza and it doesn't have the same rubber feel on your teeth.
Hey. I'm a new referee in Germany and I wanted to ask you what the best whistle is. Price isn't really important. Which one do you recommend the most? And also after reading some comments I've seen that I have to use my tongue in a specific way. How to do that? Thanks for making these videos and I'd really appreciate a reply. Greetings from Germany.
Hello To me the best one is the Molten Valkeen because it’s easy to use and also to hold while running etc. If you use a whistle lanyard then a Fox 40 Classic would be just as good. You need to close the whistles hole with your tongue and blow, then release the tounge. Then close again. Like this: th-cam.com/video/q2gl87GGb6Y/w-d-xo.html
@@RefereeChannel Thanks for the fast response! I will most likely buy the Valkeen as it is easier to use and we are not allowed to use a lanyard in Germany
@@RefereeChannel There were some cases in my region where players attacked the referee and pulled the lanyard from the referee in one case so he couldn't breathe a while.
Hi there. Great video! I be been using the Valkeen for over 5 months now and I have to say, amazing whistle! Question, do you know how to get the silver version? The World Cup 2014 version? I know it’s rare to find but if possible if you have a link to it? Thanks!
In the J League, an original design whistle called "Special Valkeen" designed in white and gold will be presented as a supplementary prize to the referee selected as the best referee.
Hi Mr Victor I have a Question ur Valkeen has the flip grip its expensive with the flip grip? I want it but its a little expensive why the valkeen is so expensive?
Hello With the flip trip it’s about 20% more expensive than without it. It’s expensive because they still manage to sell them at that price and many professional referees use them.
Ive had my Molten valley whistle for about 3 months now and it suddenly started to sound much weaker and not as sharp as before. I’ve tried to clean it with different methods but it didn’t work?
@@RefereeChannel Victor, how do you use your lungs to blow the whistle? I tried it but I don't think I can get to the volume you have. I don't know if I'm a doing something wrong.
@@RefereeChannel Any specific reason why? I thought about buying the valkeen, but I just couldn't stomach the cost. I just bought the dolfin f but we're in the off-season here in the Midwest, so the only chance I've had to use it has been during indoor matches. Right now I'm doing HS and just started with college this year, but we are only allowed to AR for the first 3yrs. (totally fine by me lol)

Molten Valkeen memang mantaapp 💯😁👍

No, I don’t. It’s not suitable any time. Just blowing the whistle with less force is better if you want it to be more quiet.
I use the low frequency when the decision isn't negative. Like allowing substitution, when I need a ball or when signalling to talk to an AR.
😍😍😍
Request test whistle HRS/Valken chinese 130 Db 🙏

There are for the Dolfin. But I don’t know if they fit the Valkeen. Aftermarket products. Just Google ”Molten mouth guard”.

Okay. That’s’ interesting that you aren’t allowed to use a lanyard. I see no reason for such a rule.
@@RefereeChannel There were some cases in my region where players attacked the referee and pulled the lanyard from the referee in one case so he couldn't breathe a while.
That’s terrible. But to me that’s not a reasonable reason to not allow referees to use it. Anything can be used to do terrible things with.
Nice
Which type metal is used in this whistle ?
I think the silver colored material is titanium.
@@RefereeChannel thank you, Sir
👍 nice

Hi Victor I have The Valkeen but the sound its different and its the original, u use a techinque to blow the whistle?
You need to use your tounge like this: th-cam.com/video/q2gl87GGb6Y/w-d-xo.html
Got mine thanks to this video :)
Glad to help.
what type whistle use in world cup football 2014/2018…?
The referees used whatever they wanted. Molten Valkeen, Molten Dolfin, Fox 40 Classic etc
is there a difference between molten valkeen premium and molten valkeen classic?
There are no such models. The Valkeen is the Valkeen. Premium and Classic don’t exist.
it seems strange to me because some people when they unpacked their molten valkeen it was marked premium on one of the boxes inside
I am very sad that there is no detailed instruction on how to use it
There is already a video about how to blow a whistle. Just search ”how to blow a whistle”.

Probably something stuck inside if you have reffed at artificial grass.
Hi Victor, I have the Valkeen and I was wondering how I can do the choppy sound.
Hi. You just need to do multiple short whistles 4-5 times by using the tongue technique. Like this: th-cam.com/video/q2gl87GGb6Y/w-d-xo.html
@@RefereeChannel Victor, how do you use your lungs to blow the whistle? I tried it but I don't think I can get to the volume you have. I don't know if I'm a doing something wrong.
I don’t really do any thing special with them. It’s all about force and the tounge.
David Donayre it’s legit all your tongue, your breathing doesn’t like stop and start. It’s all your tongue.
It does take a lot of practise too
I found a molten valkeen branded by ROX Gold, should i buy it?
No idea. It’s not a Valkeen.
0:32
Compare to Molten Blazza which one is louder do you have one?
Never tried the Blazza. It’s for indoors.
Is this a sort of tbest flute?
Yes.
@@RefereeChannel I have it from Amazon
Idk if this was the good one?
@@RefereeChannel thanks
Is it hard to blow?
No.
I bought the walkeen but it doesn't whistle so sharp, indeed it makes a strange sound
You need to do it like this: th-cam.com/video/q2gl87GGb6Y/w-d-xo.html
Sounds like it's louder than the Sonik ?
About the same.
Which one iS best molten valkeen or fox 40 sonik
Both sound great but Valkeen is much easier to use and vary sounds with. Also easier to hold.
I want to buy it.How can I bought it? I am from Bangladesh
