- I pack for a trip out west in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. On this trip, I will be sleeping in a tent. The temperatures will be warm and much of my time will be spent above tree line. I will be in Cloud Peak Wilderness which has areas where packing out human waste is required. On this 4 day trip, there will be no resupplies and I will be traveling a little lighter with my frameless backpack.

Bought that noxgear speaker from watching u. Used it on taum Sauk last weekend on the Ozark trail: poured rain like hell just turned it up. It got soaked worked like a charm hahah

Enjoy your hike! I've done the Solitude loop twice--in both directions. It's very beautiful and full of solitude.
Going to the Big Horns in a month and having the same wag bag dillema. I never get the sudden "I need to poop and it needs to happen NOW" while hiking, so I'm also feeling fine about waiting to get out of the high-use areas.

I'm curious how much of that battery you use, charging your electronics. I'm thinking about a 5-day trip and wondering if 30,000 mah is enough.

Would say that is enough.
How quick do your trail runners dry out why you get them soaked
@@jonathanhoover5607 depends on the terrain. Probably 400-500 miles. Taking them off takes too much time. They dry quickly.

Do you worry at all about the beef sticks going bad without refrigeration for 4 days?
@@edj9978 they are fine without refrigeration until the package is unsealed. You probably have 5-9 days after that, depending on conditions.
@@MidwestBackpacker I carry the smaller packages so that I can finish the open ones the same day I open them. But that is expensive good to hear that you are getting 5 days plus. I will try it. thanks.
