This game is a 90s classic. It wasn’t as polished as the SNES Turtles in Time but it was unique for the Genesis. The Shredder’s Hideout level with Tatsu made this game a must own.
It was way ahead of it's time , very joyful , childish , graphics and colours were dazzling for it's time and still even for now , mega drive and snes , and later PlayStation 1 were the ultimate playing joy and fun .

For all the recycled assets the game has from Turtles In Time, it does have one new asset - the boss Tatsu, who was Shredder's right hand man in the first 2 TMNT live action films of the 90's.

I honestly prefer this game's soundtrack to Turtles in Time's. The instrumentation and percussion sounds a lot better than the SNES game. This is a fantastic beat em' up for the Sega Genesis.
SNES version has a lot more instruments playing in the music, so it sounds richer due to it. FM Synth had smaller limitations, so it was really limited by what it could do, even on higher end PC's, like the X68000 and PC 98 (some of the best home FM Synth exists on these 2 PC's), or in arcade machines.
I always thought rocky or rock steady had an ak or something and shot up all over like a mad man and rocks would fall and he had the shoulder pound attack thing too.
In this time period Konami released a lot of games on Genesis and SNES at the same time and the games were often quite different, for some reason. Contra being the biggest example.
So whose bright idea was it to place human Stockman in a later level after we had already seen Fly Stockman? He got a demutation treatment in between levels? ;)

Once i was playing with my brother and at this part I stood next to those pillars and when i jump suddenly my turtle jump to to infinity and beyond, i mean, he jump so hight and he never come back. We didn't know what to do because my bro wasn't able to continue playing and we just restart the game. We tried a lot of times after that and it never happened again. Weird glitch 😬

Well played game, and no damage on hard mode, that's totally boss.
