They made these JBL's 6x9 around 1984- 1987ish they were 100 watts of power! Then in 1990 they released the JBL T595 6x9 with 150 watts of power!! Legendary speakers! I have Two sets in my '79 Coup De Ville and Two sets in my '63 Impala
I have a couple of jbl and a couple of the famous Pandrivers despite the years as they sound beautiful and I don't change them for anything ✌️😎 I've had them since 1985, they've been in my Volkswagen for 37 years 😃
Those are literally as rare as finding a diamond in an defunct mine. These things weighed more than most subs did at that time. Right up there with the A/D/S 325i and Nakamichi TD1200. We sold Rodek for a minute, Autotek too.
They need to be placed in a trunk .When you out them In a trunk .They hit like an 8” woofer They were made to be free air Rodek was made by ZED Audio It was basically a generic Hifonics amplifier They were a good amplifier
The RODEK brand was designed by ZED Audio (Steven Mantz) I would not say is a generic amplifier or an exact copy of any other brand. Zed audio made Hifonics like you mentioned and designed amps for many other brands and every model designed Steven Mantz was made extremely well and assembled in the US.
@@johndilauro7253 Some people use generic as inferior or a cheply made copy. I appreciate you clarifing. You sound knowledgeable about these amps, most have never heard of Rodek. Thanks for your comment.
I owned both models they are very similar in sound quality, sensitivity and power handling. the JBL T545's were made in the 80s and the T595 made in the 90s some prefer the look of the T595's. If you are looking for a set, the main thing is making sure they are genuine. Thanks for your comment.
@@satyadinatalie3156 I have pair of T545, pair T595 and 2 pairs of T595 Decade. The T545 weights 3.2 kilo each and the T595 Limited/Decade weights 2.9 kilo each
I had a pair..This bring back memories.
Good times..Great sounds.

I remember wanting a pair of these when I was younger and then finally getting them..
Jensen triad 6x9’s blasting Black Sabbath at a 1980 Surrey field party! Rock n Roll!!
One of my partners had four of these in his Oldsmobile 98' and they sound amazing. Wish I had a set I'm a fan of old school audio
The JBL T545's and the T595 series are some of the best sounding 6x9 speakers.
Great sound quality and handle lots of power.

They were made in 1984 for sure. I had a pair then
I haven't heard a car speaker to this day to match the SQ those speakers had
No doubt I wish they still made them as they were some of the best sounding 6x9 made.
Bellissime casse e suono eccezionale ❤
😂 I just recently give my pair away it’s old but still work nice your is clean
I also have a pair of these speakers in very worn condition but sound good despite the heavy wear, awesome speakers.
Beautiful

The JBL T 595's are an upgraded version of those awsome and legendary speakers!
