Sunnyvale boy feeling ‘like a rockstar' after Make-A-Wish grants his dream trip

10-year-old Edison Wu and his family spoke with us about how getting Edison’s dream trip granted impacted their lives.
Edison was born with a rare congenital heart defect: Pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum. Edison has had a challenging childhood filled with surgeries and medical appointments, though you’d never guess it from his cheerful disposition.
Edison’s family told us that not only did his Make-A-Wish trip provide memories that will last a lifetime, but it also helped Edison to see his differences as part of what makes him special.
