- Installing fog lights onto to my B7 Passat, unfortunately my trim model came with no fog but you can swap over the parts from the fog light model. I pieced everything up from www.rockauto.com. Will be doing more Installs on this car so stay tuned, also will be investing into a tripod lol.

Use a trim tool not a screwdriver on the paint
Thank your for showing how to replace my missing OEM all plastic cover! Mine disappeared, I suspect someone hit the car in the parking lot. I ordered a new piece and was not sure how to install it. Your video showed me how to install it! Thanks. Hope you sold the piece you took out on Ebay, they are more expensive then I thought they would be. Thanks again.
How about the wiring , and switch install
I don't think I recorded that part but I'll double check and see but it was a basic relay harness.
A company called ECS Tuning sales the trigger wire, an switch together for around $100. Parts geek has the lights an trims for $170. And the battery only needs to remove once you get to the through the plug under the carpet.
I just got these in yesterday. Good video, had them installed pretty quick

have a question... what wire kit did you use to wire up your fog lights? im having problems finding a harness
I just used a basic relay harness from eBay
If you need the wiring harness with relay, just grab one from ebay as the right connectors are already attached. I also used a euro switch and it looks factory.
I am having trouble finding the right harness for this, could you help me find it?
@@Brofatinatat I used a generic ebay harness. Search based on your bulb type, eg. Mine was h11.www.ebay.com/itm/303522435725

@@johnhamrick9201just search "vw euro switch" on eBay. They allow you to control parking lights and rear fog lights if you add that function.

Try this, this is the same harness except for the universal connector.
