  • I arrived in the heart of Vietnam that very few people know about. This area in and around Phong Nha is where the newly discovered and now the biggest caves in the world were found in 2005 by 2 British explorers. The Vietnamese people kept this area quiet from the outside world for many years after the Vietnam war, but it is now a World UNESCO Heritage site.
Although very few tourists come here (only the hardy backpacker), this area will be booming within 5 years.

Had major problems with my laptop and uploading videos. Tried to get it fixed but in the process I've lost an awful lot of footage I have already filmed.

That sleeper bus looked very comfortable!
I’ve never heard of that cave place Andrew… looking forward to your video from there.

Exactly. No tourists know about it. Us hardy backpackers do a lot of research of the off the beaten track places to go. And Dave, trust me you will be blown away at what I found there. Never seen anything like it in the world. A natural phenomenon that is over 400 million years old. The Vietnamese people kept it a secret from the outside world until 2 British explorers stumbled upon them in 2009.
