Yes, I have absolutely been tempted by, and occasionally given in to, the urge to buy an interesting lock that I’ve randomly come across. I’ve seen these Master KW1 locks in handle knobs, guess it makes sense they’d be in deadbolts too. Good picking and thanks for sharing this with us 😊🙏
Master Lock's Grade 2 and Grade 1 locks are actually pretty good. We typically use the SC1 keyway. We have installed them for a few customers with no problems.
I do expect there to be a problem it is just a funny combination. I see the utility for Kwikset and Schlage locks it is just funny (to me) to see Master Lock on the name too
Master lock also made one of those “rekey with your house key” padlocks that used the kwikset key way and those same keys. Not too surprised they kinda went the other way with it…

Did not know that a MasterLock deadbolt was a thing. Clearly it is popular if it is on clearance.

An interesting conglomeration. TBH I'd use it on my home as the local riff-raff aren't into picking yet so it's as good as any other drillable lock.
I don't personally have anything against Kwikset and I see their utility but I just found it to be a fun combo
I have a lock where if I even touch the 1st pin it is overset.
