Easy to follow, video, have made a few masks, will pass the pattern, on to my Mum. Cannot believe it I can now make my own masks. Will be making three layers masks with filters next 💯👍🙃

@@georgiaearley1691 I made some for my kids using the 12x7" fabric size and ear elastics are 7". They fit well. Fit my 6 yr old and tiny 9 yr old well. I tried 12x6" first and it wasn't wide enough... That would work well for a 3-5 yr old.

What measurements would you use for a kids version of this?
Just made this and the end product is pretty much a kid's mask. Probably use shorter elastic bands ( I made a knot in behind each ear for my daughter)

I was told that the pleats should all go the same direction when I was making masks. Such a cute pattern though. 🥰
Rachel Ewen That’s correct, these masks just hold the droplets in the pleat, needs to be all the same way.
If you expand it out all the way there is no pleat.

No rubber bands, they’d be very uncomfortable. You can use coated colored hair elastic.
The actual mask I made turned out really well, however the loops were too short. I would add 1 or 2 more cm. to each loop.

I have just made some of these for my kids and used 12 inch (30 cm) by 6 inch (15cm) and they fit really well.
