Having been a Jodoka for 50 years, some of those “simple” throws are pretty technical - but agree they can be learned - from a suitably qualified and experienced instructor in a safe dojo environment over a suitable period of time. Not that you suggested in any way that people could learn the throws from TH-cam - you didn’t - but it does trouble me when I see videos on TH-cam of people using judo to throw each other on concrete or grass fields! Stay safe, learn to fall properly first and only practice in a club environment - remember Judo means the Gentle Way!
100% agree... Tani O can be so dangerous. Any advice on how to avoid blowing out my friend's knees with it?
True, I heard Tani Otoshi should not be done by beginners at all. I can see why
Can u do a video of your gym workout, im currently trying to get to the teens national team in my country and im lacking strentgh. Ty
@@justsomeedits8416 ok ty
@@justsomeedits8416 do u understand german?
More please 👍👍
Osoto-Otoshi ❤️
Gracias
Good job
Can u do a video how to do ogoshi in nogi and not get your back taken
Use under hooks and some are just risky since it's more judo style so needs good set up and proper technique so you won't get back taken but for o goshi I don't think your back should be taken more from like a headlock or seo nage
tomoe nage is a "simple technique"?
Yes, at least against unskilled oponents. Because they don't imagine that sacrifice throws exist.
3 of them are literally on the list to provoke discussion in the comments 😂
@@Iverisus 😉
I've heard people say Tani Otoshi should nevee be practised by beginnerd since it's dangerous
It’s not inherently dangerous. It is only dangerous if performed incorrectly.
@@jackbarrett3599 of course, that goes for anything. I'm just saying that the chance of injury is apparently way higher compared to other techniques if done wrong and to be honest we naturally make mistakes during randori for example
Seriously? Looks like the tamest take down on offer here
@@martinratcliffe5987 he's not wrong. it causes a lot of injuries. the example shown in the video is very well executed; nobody would be injured with such a tani otoshi. however, poor technique is more common than it should be, and injuries happen disproportionately with tani otoshi. you can find some nasty examples here on youtube, I am sure.
@jackbarrett3599 in heavy weights it can be dangerous even if performed correctly, if the opponent turns too much at the very last moment. High risk of saying goodbye to your knee
Judo is better than karate
