I have no real issue with Spurs fans wanting their team to lose to stop us from winning the league because if the shoe was on the other foot, I'd probably wish for the same. However, what I certainly would not do (and hope that all other Gooners wouldn't do either) is embarrass myself, my fellow fans and my club by cheering when we concede, wearing the shirt of the opposition or adopting their fans' celebrations. Sure, be happy that you haven't helped us, but be subtle about it. Keep it on the down-low. To openly celebrate in the manner that a lot of their fans did was just completely shameful; no wonder their own manager humiliated them in public! "To dare is to do"? My left one.

The fans don’t affect what happens on the pitch? Of course they do. We had previously beaten city 5 times in a row at THS. In each case the fans gave 100%. They helped get those results.

If you want to remain small Martin Buhagir with that mindset, then so be it. However, the real money that floods into Spurs comes from the overseas supporters.

I'm not entirely sure what his point was but coming on the show. He didn't actually say anything that justifies have a meeting with Ange apart from Spurs fans hate Arsenal. I also love how he picks out the loses. Spurs nearly finished 4th and if the fans were the 12th man then they could have inspired their team to dig deeper to win that game, but by all accounts you're hearing that folk said the atmosphere was weird and you can bet the players felt that. Ange and the team needed the fans in that game and they weren't there.
The owner has the same mentality as the fans. He was more bothered in building a bigger stadium than Arsenal rather than winning the league. Keown called it and you all slated him.
What point was he trying to make? Other than that he knows the history of this sad club.

What??? How can we criticise other teams for quiet fans (Highbury Library etc) if our Head Supporter says fans make no difference.
This is perfect example and of someone compromising their views in an attempt to defend their position.

This is why Spurs win absolutely pi55 all. They define themselves not by what they win, but by what others lose. They are the Russia of the EPL. Absolutely shocking.

In no other premier league club would their rival's failure be the prime motivation. It would be a consolation for losing.
