    August and September were brutal budget-wise. October will be the same for us. I'm looking forward to an easier November.

      We had a tough September for sure and probably will have a challenging October. Here’s to November!

    Thank you for your transparency, i would use the $710 to pay back the card. I know it seems like “extra” money that you could put somewhere else into your budget but in the long run the interest might bite you in the butt!

      Thank you for watching! I agree with you. It is not at all extra money 😊

    I think I'd put it on the card to cover the transaction ASAP. I don't trust myself enough to not "find something" to spend the money on if it's in the budget

      You are so right! I was telling hubby I was going to hold off on paying the card back and he laughed. His words were “that money is to pay the card back. Don’t come crying when you look and it’s all gone!” I think it is best to pay the card back immediately.

      My answer. I would definitely spend it on something

      @@spf_500 I most definitely could find something to blow it on too.

    Hi Melissa, great check in. Do your best and forget the rest, i heard that on paw patrol once lol. Im going to ditto what others are saying about the reimbursement.

      Yes! Thank you Stephanie! I agree ☝🏾 That’s about all I can do too, my best. 😊😊

    I would put the $710 to credit card charge because I told myself I would. For the dentist charge I would try to set aside $ (but not yet pay) at least some towards the part that won’t be reimbursed by insurance. Be careful with CVS, convenient but they overcharge!

    • @BudgetingOver40
      @BudgetingOver40  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching! I agree with putting it back in the card. I only buy stuff at CVS with coupons after shopping around. They are very pricey for sure.

    Pay back the card immediately. He reimbursed the money you told him was his responsibility, use it to cover the $710 expense.

    • @BudgetingOver40
      @BudgetingOver40  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. That was what he told me too when I suggested I could put that money into the budget.

    I would put it on the principle of the credit card with the highest interest rate.

    I’d see how my experience is before putting it back in full 😅 that’s what my hubby says.. I’ll probably put it back as soon as I get the payment 😆🤑. Great video enjoyed it 🥰💕 14:50

    I think I'd make sure my Oct. rent was paid, then I'd put that money towards the one main loan. If you get rid of that loan, you'll have an extra $500/mo.

    • @BudgetingOver40
      @BudgetingOver40  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's true. I can't to pay off One Main but I'm not sure it's going to be this year. The rent is super important, and we will have to figure that out too. Hubby says he has that covered.

    I dont know why this popped up in my feed, but HOLY CRAP!!! Y'all are a hot mess! How the h*ll you do think its OK to have $950 for a car payment?!?!? You guys dont even own a home. Your "hubby" has a $500+ child support payment. You have a ton of credit card debt. You are buying freaking laundry detergent at CVS?!? You seem to have a great family income, but your spending and debt is a freaking nightmare. Y'all are never going to get ahead at this rate. 😢

      First off, thank you for watching! While we may be a hot mess we are working thru it. I share my journey and process here to show others that not everybody out there have their finances in order. We have come a long way and there’s more to come. I suggest you watch a few of my older videos to get a clearer picture of our circumstances.
