We are not a stupid people and most of us know that we have certain responsibilities and commitments with regard to accepting Immigrants. But it has got completely out of all hand and is not sustainable. However Messrs O’Brien and Coveney in particular are completely out of touch with… as they keep saying ‘The People of Ireland’ and with reality. With our crushing housing crisis and health crisis there needs to be an urgent mature and rational National debate on this level of immigration and it’s impact. Irish people are genuinely fearful of the scale and rapidity of immigration levels and that our voices are being suppressed by politicians and the mainstream media.
