The reality : what Carol is saying here IS perfectly reasonable, based in common sense, and it needed to be said. However, nearly all of our government's ministers and party leaders would have you believe that she is an extremist/racist who needs to be silenced! The utter contempt they are showing towards anyone who is calling them out is disgraceful.
I think you hit the nail on the head, right there. Zero communication with the people who live in these areas. Just stick people from a completely different cultural background, fleeing war torn situations. Probably in serious need of counseling of some kind. Into an area that's lacking real resources itself. No wonder something like this was going to happen! How ignorant would you have to be, not to see this coming. Fix the problems in these communities before you go weighing it down with more. Defunct government towing the Brussels line.

To allow people into the country without a passport, who managed to get onto a plane with a passport and magically disappeared on arrival here is an insult to the indigenous people and a national security risk. Not having a deportation policy regarding those who have committed serious crimes as we have witnessed here, is in effect indirectly facilitating crime by accepting that there is nothing we can do as a so called sovereign nation. All of the parties function as a collective, like the Borg and disrespect the democratic process by ignoring the electorate and refusing to debate legitimate concerns, as expressed by our constituents by implementing reasonable changes that have a legal basis with respect to abuses that are and may occur.

Myself 57 and my son 13 had to relocate to the uk as Fingal couldn’t and wouldn’t house us when we where being evicted. I am a lone parent we left everything behind beds his game chair his tv his school his friends his family me too we left with the clothes on our back because l could not afford to move all my appliances and our beds our furniture
We where put in temporary accommodation In the uk within a month WOW and where 8 years on Fingal housing list
Now it’s Christmas we have nothing
