The lost in the woods shade is such a rich green it's stunning and what a great name for METAMORPHOSIS. ~~~for me Putting solar flare on top of another purple makes it more vampy and is so fun for fall.
I just got my Starrily collection yesterday, and it was a toss up between Sleepy Hollow and Into the Woods. I went with Sleepy Hollow, and it is STUNNING! I don't think any camera could capture just how different this polish is compared to seeing it in person.
ILNP Autumn & Olive Grove, Orly Metamorphosis, and the Holo Taco Rainbow Collection have been absolute Autumn faves of mine this year! A lot of companies absolutely delivered awesome collections for Autumn/Halloween.
Orly's Light My (Camp) Fire reminds me a lot of their shade Flicker from their Fall 2012 Fired Up collection, I'm still regretting not getting a backup, it was the most gorgeous Autumn burnt orange shimmer (different shimmer than Light My (Camp) Fire) that looked like it was glowing from within. Love your picks! 💕

I painted my nails for our trunk or treat at church. I used your Wing It over a cream shade (didn’t have any white) on every other nail and orange on the others. Everyone loved it and was asking about my manicure. I had questions flying at me left & right. Thanks for this fantastic polish Kelli! A big hit and I adore it! The Essie to diy for orange was the perfect complimentary color that perfectly matched my Halloween shirt with bats on it! Metamorphosis would be my fall pick as well but Stop the Clock is a close second. Thanks for this great review!
Is trunk or treat where the priests lock their kids they fiddle in a trunk when they're not getting their treats from them? Or was that just a auto correct of the actual term "trick or treat"?

A legit “trunk or treat” is when we, the church members, decorate the trunks of our cars, lined up around the church, and the kids do a walk around and collect candy. Not really sure if you were looking for an explanation but there it is! Other places besides churches do trunk or treat. Your question was very inappropriate and obnoxious. God bless!
These are all so pretty! My favorite this year is a halloween PPU polish: paradox polish, halloween treats. It's a glow in the dark thermal with black flakies and orange iridescent (??)flakies. The thermal shifts from clear to red and it's so juicy! It's my first paradox and i am in love!

So far I am in LOVE with Holo Taco's Crimson Void. I change my nail polish every couple days because I get bored with it and I want to do my nails all the time, but I've had this one on all week. And it has lasted. Still looks perfect. I love that it looks like a moody reddish maroon most of the time until the sun hits it. The other one I've been loving enough to wear a couple times this fall is Mooncat's Midnight Drive. It has a gorgeous pink thing going on around the edges. It's just magical. It does not last on my nails, more than 3 days, for some reason, but I wore it without a base coat. It's stunning, though! Tonight I will be trying Orly's Metamorphosis, ButbI don't know how long I will keep it on because I'm really feeling the dark maroons and purples right now.
Thanks to you I ordered some Rogue Lacquer and Autumn Reflections has become my fave for fall this year. Followed VERY closely by Wildflower Lacquer’s Tonight We Fly Again which shifts through all the fall colors and has a gorgeous holo flare. Too many great releases to keep up with this year! I LOVE seeing the greater variety of brands in your favorites this season! I feel like Small Brand Sundays is going to really shake things up. I’ve been having to keep myself away from Metamorphosis, Noodles Toil & Trouble, Rogue Cactus Flower, ILNP Pumpkin Patch, and Cupcake Slime Time this season. All autumnal/Halloween, even if they’re not all new.
Great selection! My favourites this autumn are both by Cuticula - All the Fall Things and Bonfire. They are so luminous and catch the play of autumn light and colours spectacularly well.
Sparkling water gives me heartburn if I drink too much, I prefer regular water, too. I jumped on that Bubbly craze a year or two ago and wound up on stomach meds and was diagnosed with an ulcer. I'll stick with boring water from now on, too. I love the colors you picked for fall.... what I am wearing (and love) right now is Holo Taco Burnt Bridges. I just ordered a few from Beyond Polish from the OPI Holiday Collection, because one of those looks like a nice fall color as well. I wish I saw your video before I ordered because I would have picked up two that you showed in this video from the Orly Surrealist Collection.
Metamorphosis is gorgeous, but it stained my nails BAD after only 4-5 days of wear, even with a protective base coat. Great choices!! I have most of these and love them!!
I live in Germany, and (non-flavored) sparkling water is ubiquitous here. When I first moved here, I wasn't a fan, but it's grown on me. When I have a choice between the two, I'll nearly always choose sparkling now. I don't have any polishes from a Fall 2022 collection, but I recently picked up some polishes from a German indie brand called Herzlack. I think they were from their Fall 2019 collection (Fuchs & Hase, which means Fox & Hare), and there were two absolutely gorgeous polishes: Herbstfuchs (orange jelly with gold flakes) and Grummelgrau (navy with sparse scattered holo). I'll be wearing the heck out of them this season.

If I'm paying for water, I always go sparkling (but not flavoured because it's nearly always minging here) because tap water here - Scotland - is so good!

I love so many of your picks and have several of them. I loved Orly's whole Surrealist collection and have worn several already. My number one fave this season though is BCB lacquer, I See You Shiver with Anticipation. It came out in a Polished Gamers or Hella Handmaid release this year. It's a brownish red with a hint of scattered Holloow. I wish I would have bought two bottles of it, I love it that much.
I think Orly’s fall collection was my favorite, too! Love Metamorphoses, but the whole collection was beautiful. From the Mooncat collection, I really loved Eye of Newt!
I think my favorite Fall color this year is Claydreaming by OPI. I am also a fan of Fresh Villainy by Sally Hansen Miracle Gel X SGE.(It reminded me of the Oktoberfest polish you showed by Rogue Lacquer. 🙂
Waiting for my second coat of Orly Vixen to dry a little before coat #3. I went for a classic today, but I think I've worn Force of Nature four times this season! Orly Persistent Memory is one of my Fall favorites. Also OPI Clay Dreaming and Peace of Mined. I haven’t worn all of the Essie Fall collection yet, so there may be some in there that I end up loving.

I am super guilty of loving fizzy drinks😂 I don't get many chances to drink alcohol because I have a chronic illness that causes a lot of pain and so I'm on meds for that. I don't know if I have a favorite sparkling water brand though. I am generally content with my "boring water" with ice and lemon. As far as nail polish for fall...I really don't think anyone has come out with something I've enjoyed🤔 the closest has probably been ILNP's "Trapped" collection. I loved the blues in there.
I chuckled a bit while watching this. Painting my nails with 'Honey Nectar' by Kokie. Has a similar vibe to 'Light my Campfire' by Orly. It's not necessarily a fall release polish, but it is one of my favorites to wear during this time of year! Plus, I think it's a permanent color that you can fine at Sally Beauty.
I have Rogue Oktoberfest on my fingers and Orly Light My (Camp) Fire on my toes right now. From the 2022 autumn collections my faves are the ILNP Harvest polishes. Ok, Metamorphosis and Autumn are on my wish list, but the only polish I've bought recently was your Witching Hour collection and I am on a polish-buying hiatus. Into the Woods is gorgeous in the sunlight! I like sparkling water and have had a sodastream for years so I can make my own carbonated water. I find flat water can be boring if it doesn't have flavour added but I like fizzy/carbonated drinks. I'm pretty sure LaCroix is always flavoured (at least I've never seen one without flavour here in Canada) and the flavours are pretty good, so if you are ever stuck with carbonated as your only option I'd recommend LaCroix. Bubly is also flavoured but I find them really subtle and kind of unnoticeable so you might not like them as much.
I am getting back into painting my nails after a year of getting gels at a salon (and my nails being in bad shape lol). I love all of these recs and am going to pick a couple up!
Please could you do a video on how to start with nail care as I was a nail bitter I’m trying to grow my nails and don’t know the best strengtheners etc to use 💚

I really need Oktoberfest! It’s like the fun sparkly sister to OPI’s “Every Month is Oktoberfest” in a way. I love water with lemons and cucumbers in it! I think I asked this question while drinking a sparkling water so I definitely listed one that’s out of WI (not sure if it’s sold outside of WI or the Midwest 😂). If you ever get your hands on the skinny cans of La Croix, the cherry lime and the apple one are the best!
I find it so interesting that in the past you've said Essie isn't a good beginner brand. I'm curious if there was a formula change from when I first started painting my nails, because Essie was my go-to polish. That was 10 or 11 years ago, though.
I would say they're beginner friendly now! Their formula has definitely changed. But to be fair, I started out with Essie and OPI too about 12ish years ago (after graduating from Sinful Colors lol) and I still fell in love with polish haha. I just think back then they really weren't self levelling and my nails were often lumpy!
Kelli have you tried bees knees lacquer? If not i would definitely recommend, they are releasing their penultimate collection tomorrow I believe (though they will continue to do Polish Pickup i think)!
I have tried them and definitely enjoy them! I was going to include them in a Small Brand Sunday but I don't think it's a good idea since they're not going to be releasing collections anymore!

Once I saw Holo Tacos Lost in the Woods I knew it was going to be my favorite. I also like the Orange creme Holo Taco put out recently.

I always love these videos. Love the fact that most of your choices are a purply color or a green color. Love the other colors too. We have very similar tastes with polish. 😄
Loving the colors you showed in this video but would love to see some of your purples, yellow, teal and green maybe.. I love so many of your picks and have several of them. I loved Orly's whole Surrealist collection and have worn several already. My number one fave this season though is BCB lacquer, I See You Shiver with Anticipation. It came out in a Polished Gamers or Hella Handmaid release this year. It's a brownish red with a hint of scattered Holloow. I wish I would have bought two bottles of it, I love it that much.

I think my favorite Fall color this year is Claydreaming by OPI. I am also a fan of Fresh Villainy by Sally Hansen Miracle Gel X SGE.(It reminded me of the Oktoberfest polish you showed by Rogue Lacquer. 🙂
Waiting for my second coat of Orly Vixen to dry a little before coat #3. I went for a classic today, but I think I've worn Force of Nature four times this season! Going to have to order a few of these, they're gorgeous, and I can see wearing that Lost in the Woods year-round! Great picks, love these!!

I am super guilty of loving fizzy drinks😂 I don't get many chances to drink alcohol because I have a chronic illness that causes a lot of pain and so I'm on meds for that. I don't know if I have a favorite sparkling water brand though. I am generally content with my "boring water" with ice and lemon. As far as nail polish for fall...I really don't think anyone has come out with something I've enjoyed🤔 the closest has probably been ILNP's "Trapped" collection. I loved the blues in there.
I chuckled a bit while watching this. Painting my nails with 'Honey Nectar' by Kokie. Has a similar vibe to 'Light my Campfire' by Orly. It's not necessarily a fall release polish, but it is one of my favorites to wear during this time of year! Plus, I think it's a permanent color that you can fine at Sally Beauty.

Ok, Metamorphosis and Autumn are on my wish list, but the only polish I've bought recently was your Witching Hour collection and I am on a polish-buying hiatus. Into the Woods is gorgeous in the sunlight!
I like sparkling water and have had a sodastream for years so I can make my own carbonated water. I find flat water can be boring if it doesn't have flavour added but I like fizzy/carbonated drinks. I'm pretty sure LaCroix is always flavoured (at least I've never seen one without flavour here in Canada) and the flavours are pretty good, so if you are ever stuck with carbonated as your only option I'd recommend LaCroix. Bubly is also flavoured but I find them really subtle and kind of unnoticeable so you might not like them as much.

I love water with lemons and cucumbers in it! I think I asked this question while drinking a sparkling water so I definitely listed one that’s out of WI (not sure if it’s sold outside of WI or the Midwest 😂). If you ever get your hands on the skinny cans of La Croix, the cherry lime and the apple one are the best!
I find it so interesting that in the past you've said Essie isn't a good beginner brand. I'm curious if there was a formula change from when I first started painting my nails, because Essie was my go-to polish. That was 10 or 11 years ago, though.
I would say they're beginner friendly now! Their formula has definitely changed. But to be fair, I started out with Essie and OPI too about 12ish years ago (after graduating from Sinful Colors lol) and I still fell in love with polish haha. I just think back then they really weren't self levelling and my nails were often lumpy!
Kelli have you tried bees knees lacquer? If not i would definitely recommend, they are releasing their penultimate collection tomorrow I believe (though they will continue to do Polish Pickup i think)!
I have tried them and definitely enjoy them! I was going to include them in a Small Brand Sunday but I don't think it's a good idea since they're not going to be releasing collections anymore!
