The movie was honestly so good I forgot they were leaked to be in it until Ned started opening up the first portal. They really messed the old Raimi and Webb characters seamlessly in like they never left. Especially Norman

@@Mylesvance maybe in america yeh but in the rest of the world people got manners. You CAN help it. It's not a concern, it's a cinema. Shut up and listen
I like this reaction more than others. There's the initial cheer and shock before quickly quieting down. And the cheering is done at cheer moments rather than other reactions that cheer when Peter says "The multiverse is real!"
my favorite is at 2:26, when you hear a guy cheering in anticipation for the moment, and then tobey's peter returns, with a glorious applause, but not after a brief pause that's almost in wide disbelief, as if to collectively say, in silence, ''is this really happening'' ''YES IT IS, HOLY SHIT'', and then I think some guy randomly yells?? lol
This scene is the antithesis of the endgame portals scene. Instead of them entering a huge battle with a gigantic army it’s a small living room and they enter so casually. It’s perfect for Spider-Man’s character
This is unrelated, but i LOVE the subtle costume choice in this scene, andrew is wearing the suit because he isn't fully in touch with his alter ego, as proved later on in the lab scene (he says something along the lines of "i got no time for peter parker stuff") and tobey's peter is peter in this scene, showing fully that he has developed into both worlds, he doesn't do one more than the other, like he "made it work" with MJ and after SM3, learned how to properly balance out the two lives and seemingly find peace and order in a chaotic life. Idk if that was intentional, it's my observation is all.
When Tobey and Andrew came in I pinched myself to know if this was real and said "I knew you'd come back" as well as "it's good to have you back Spider-Man"
I'm amazed some of you still comment on this. Thank you all. It was an amazing night that day in the theater. It felt like a rock concert. I hope you all continue to see this video and remember it fondly
3:13 this moment hit me the most on first viewing. When you really think about it, this marked the very first real marvel crossover. The Avengers were all created in the MCU and were always meant to meet but this is two completely separate pre established universes made independently at different eras coming together. I cannot recall another marvel movie that did this, especially to this extent. They almost pulled this off with quicksilver in WandaVision but they dropped the ball on that one hardcore.
Tobey is the last thing I expected. It was a looooong time ago. It's been at least 20 years since I saw his first SM movie and now he came straight out of nowhere
In our paris grand Rex people went crazy nuts they screamed like hell plus many of them started crying even I got emotional! Damn it was a fan service for all of us
All three of them were basically the three stages of my life. Tobey Maguire was my childhood Spider-Man. Andrew Garfield was my teenage years Spider-Man and Tom Holland was my adulthood Spider-Man. Even the worst of the three portrayals of Spider-Man is absolutely amazing. But, however, Tobey, Maguire’s portrayal of Spider-Man will always be my favorite. And one of my favorite lines will always be by him “hey kiddo, let mom and dad talk for a minute will you“
Thats what I love about these 3 guys. Exactly my generation for Spider-Man. Tobey was my childhood Spider-Man Age: 7-12. Andrew was my first teenage Spider-Man Age: 17-19. Tom was my adulthood Spider-Man Age: 21-Present. However the most satisfying in terms of Spider-Man was definitely Tobey McGuire. He was a role model in terms of typical “I want to be just like Spider-Man when I grow up.” Andrew Garfield was the kind of role model “Wow, this superhero is so relatable and has so many problems that he struggles with one me in real life”. Tom Holland is the typical fanboy who is overly energetic and sometimes annoying with the pop culture references from the 1980s that real life fans always compare to in real life events. He is the closest thing to a fanboy becoming Spider-Man when he grew up.

My take on this was that the director of the movies went on and gave us what we all have wanted, and debate it for so many years thay Tobey were more fitting into Peter's character that were gentle, warm, and friendly guy, hence why his entrance wasn't on spiderman suit rather than just a casual clothings, meanwhile Andrew's he had his full body suit Spiderman, because people said that he's better at potraying Spiderman's character and if that's true that means they have been listening to us all fans around the globe..great work i must say
Bro when Andrew came in when I was watching it everybody screamed like crazy and people started tearing it was loud af everybody was over the moon and then the second tobey steps in everybody is out of their seats n it bascially turned into a giant house party the amount of love people have towards tobey is crazy and I can understand as someone who grew up watching him

Avengers End Game when everyone got resurrected and portals Opened And "This" scene has a special place in my heart.
I remember freaking out when I saw Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Especially when they gave a stare, never have I thought I would see a movie with andrew and tobey.
We all went nuts.
Andrew Garfield was severely underrated as Spider-Man.
Yeah, he got a raw deal out of that whole debacle with Sony.
The best for me! All three guys did great jobs with the roll but he's demeanor is the most comic book spiderman like
He had so much more to give.
It's mostly bc there wasn't really a buffer between Spider-Man 3 and Amazing Spider-Man
3:23 Tobey’s fast reaction to Andrew reaction just shows how much superior he in experience
well he did have 3 movies to hone vs andrews 2 ;)
