Tobey peter parker kinda twisted that story, though. True that his best friend to kill him before, but the time his best friend died, his best friend came to his and mj's rescue, and his best friend died protecting tobey spider-man...
@@teslagod7221 I think he said it that way as kind of a warning to Ned. Basically a "When my best friend tried to kill me, it didn't end well. And it broke my heart."
Because he's basically the 'dad' of the three, so of course he'd want to keep Ned from making Harry's mistakes.
I remember the whole theater screaming when Tobey showed that he was still wearing his suit. 😊

They need to make a sequel with Andrew Garfield's spiderman finding peace
This comment gave more depth to Harry's plot in TASM2 than the actual TASM2 did... That movie took zero dramatic effort for Harry's "transformation" and essentially spent 2 hours setting up a sequel for him that would never come... Even Gwen's death feels cheapened in retrospect, like it wasn't earned and was also just a set up for a sequel. Luckily NWH was able to turn that around and pay it off with Andrew saving Zendaya, I appreciate them making that work. Just wish the same writing efforts were taken for the TASM movies...
Honestly, the fact that he had a Gwen and not an MJ kind of suggests there might still be an MJ out there for him

Would’ve liked to have seen Tobey and Andrew exchange stories about their friendships with their individual Harrys and how they went south.
U feel like that weakens the moment them explaining it is more exposition on a moment that exists solely as them remembering their best friend.
To this day still like the sound of Tobey Maguire web shooters the best of all the Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire’s Web shooters. The sound effects were the best in the movies in my opinion.

Technically, while the Garfield Spider-Man made his own web shooters, he didn’t actually make his own webbing through the chemical compound, he simply bought them from Oscorp.
You could argue he's been Spider-Man 15+ years and is probably confident in his webs ability to keep forming. Besides the mental block he has in _Spider-Man 2_ , it seems he webs have never gone out.

The look on Garfield’s Peter staring at Tobey’s wrists after that stool shot. He’s ready to ask all kinds of questions, maybe so he doesn’t have to spend 💵 on Oscorp Serum. “Is that a natural progression of the mutation? How long did it take, instant, or over time? Have you isolated the specific mutated chromosome responsible? Can I have it?!” That kind of thing.

A tiny detail that is barely noticeable is that when they move to the laboratory, during the aerial view of the institute and with the Manhattan skyline in the background, you can hear some of Danny Elfman's melody coming from Maguire's Spider Man. For me this has a little meaning, and it is as if they were telling us that Peter 2 returns to his roots from the 2002 film, when he was still in high school and above all involved in a laboratory where his alter ego was born.

Wow, I just reread the scene of Toney telling Andrew that all Spider-Mans eventually find their MJ. For a perpetual bachelor sadsack, he’s shown that statistically through time that he hasn’t even met his soulmate yet. I see confusion and hope in his eyes.

I love the interactions between the Peters in this. I love how funny Andrew Garfield's Peter is at times. His reaction to the biological web fluid is beyond funny.

Is it not possible to consider what he could have done if he hadn't killed himself with his own glider? And someone did take over as the new GG. His son Harry.
Both Osbornes are gone now his timeline, if he can save them in another version of his Timeline he would do it even if he’ll never know or experience it, to Toby’s Spider-Man it’s like watching his own back.
I just hope that version of Norman can tell Peter about the alternative future version of Spider-Man that gave him a second chance and cured him, also about Otto and sandman.

Tobey’s Spiderman carried the load of his life on his shoulders until he was unfortunate to have ppl know his identity and gained that trust of others that he found that balance between Peter Parker & Spider-Man
Andrew’s gave his identity up rather early first to Gwen then to her father to the point when he lost them he solely became Spider-Man at the cost of Peter Parker
Tom’s I think kept his life secret until others eventually knew much like Tobey but as the film ended he gave up Peter to keep everything in order and has thus become just Spider-Man much like Andrew

I didn’t really enjoy the comedy in this movie nor the performances from characters like Ned and MJ, but the action and obviously the two previous spidermen and villains coming back was the selling point.

The modern spiderman walks around without a mask way too much. Ends up just being a cringey guy in half a suit.
Dunno what makes it "cringey." Spider-Man gets unmasked all the time, in nearly all media that depicts him. Doubly so for movies -- it saves on CG, and allows the actor to emote, among other reasons.
