Every time I go to the drag strip most guys in mustangs are running LS motors nothing wrong with it. You can get a ton of horsepower out of a 5.3 look at John doc's channel or also known as LS nasty

Completly understand your point. It's a clapped out car. But Mustang purest really hate when they see someone drop an LS emgine in anything Ford. We know that the mustang has all the goodies that other manufactures want as far as a chassis and suspension goes but you could have found an old 80's or 90's F-body Camaro and done the same thing.

Nah you’ve got that ass backwards… fords chassis development has almost always been behind GMs. Be honest was a solid axle car really appropriate in the 2000s? Yes the boss was made to handle very well but overall fords chassis development has always lagged. And this is coming from a guy who’s owned 3 mustangs

All I see is broke down whips used as storage units behind a barn. Should of just made content on maybe 3 of these cars that get you the most views on.

I have a 2013 I would let you tune throw turbos on whatever I just don't have a whole lot of money. If you wanna donate me some turbos or a charger or I'll pay for it somehow we could put it on the channel and make it a daily driver. I don't know. I don't even know where you're located? still not sold lol. make your collection complete and 5.4 2v swap it start a series on "is a 5.4 2v swap worth it?" and start from stock to modified(intakes to headers and 4.6 to 5.4 ) getting track times dynos etc . there's at least a year of low cost videos and fun without being like everyone else and throwing a ls in it.

I mean I agree but most of the problems cleetus had with his ls motors was his fault and he admitted it and the others reasons where because he was pushing the hp on motors that couldn't handle much
I mean look at leroy was pushing 1300 whp or so with no coolant or water in the motor at all and ran 3 passes one of which was a low 7 second one

LS have a decent OEM connecting rod. Beyond that the design is really junk.
Ls engines are very poorly built the pistons they use are no joke low grade aluminum they literally use soda cans for pistons ls engines are cheap for a reason simply put you get what you pay for with crate engines you got to pay a bit for reliability Andrew I wouldn’t touch that ls garbage if I were you

For example: Barra swap, old school 460
big block (I’ve seen JY SBE hold a lot of power), Powerstroke, etc.
The LS swap is kind of like a slap in the face of Mustang loyalists, I get that you “want to do it” but I don’t think it will get you many new viewers or will drum up interest in your channel, it will peeve people who bother to subscribe to a channel called “Mustang Lifestyle” though.

Small Block Ford makes more power than a ls. People just loves following everything others do.

BBF platform is the ultimate pushrod platform.
A set of Kaase heads and a $2000 A460 block with the oiling system mods and you can make power that makes the small block cry for not much investment.
These days everything cost. Do it right. Don't care if it's a dollar more or a thousand more for FORD engines, no Chevy engine will go in my fords.
False false and false I had a built not stock built meaning afr heads 347 bottom comp cam truck flow efi intake big injectors later swapped to a Holley carburetor the entire build was specd and blue printed by a well known guy at my local speed shop it made like 425 horsepower it was a quick little 93 notch back guess what I blew the engine in 09 sold the remains stuck a lq4 with a comp cam and springs headers and a carb boom 500 horsepower stock engine stock heads with a off the shelf cam $500 headers $300 intake $300 ignition control box with a Camaro t5 bellhousing and input shaft to the stock t5 I kicked so much 2v 3v 4v sbf302 sbf351 axs it's a no brainer I'm currently LS swapping a 2003 mustang GT auto with a Chevrolet Colorado Ar5 manual transmission stock kmember and a fi-tech computer and harness I'll have right at $4500 in the entire build including the car and everything with stleast 450 whp once I'm done I'd love a terminator swap but that would cost at least double my entire build
