Depression During COVID 19 - Dealing With The Decline

  • The pandemic has been something of a kryptonite to people in some ways, and to others it's easier to deal with. Those with mental health can be hit by a feeling of hopelessness to a more intense degree than most others.
Although COVID-19 isn't the sole cause in my own decline, it's effects have significantly worsened my ability to cope with my conditions
    -
Social connection, support services, exercising, jobs, schooling, and many other supportive structures have been affected by the pandemic. Some rely on certain activities to stay afloat, but due to lockdown these things are heavily restricted in the UK.
I hope you take my ramblings as a lesson or personal experience, rather than a pity case. Depression and anxiety disorders are something I'm experienced in dealing with, and there are many others who deal with similar mental lows to the ones I live with myself.
Thank you so much to everyone who has stuck by me during these pressing times... as much as this is a video about my own personal life, I know many of you struggle on a day-to-day.
I wish I could give each and every one of you the platform to share those experiences

    1:37 - Mental Health
    14:43 - Channel Upgrades
UPDATE - Sadly the UK has gone into a 2nd quarantine period, the gyms have closed and socialising is very sparse. Meditation and working functioning skills back into my routine has been the main focus since I filmed this.
Although COVID-19 isn't the sole cause in my own decline, it's effects have significantly worsened my ability to cope with my conditions.
I hope you see this video more as an account of my own experiences, rather than a 'pity me' video. I know many of you struggle with your own demons and I never wish to take that away from you
    Much love, and stay safe

Thank you so much for making this video. I absolutely dislike forced positivity, and like you I fall into the trap of it. I can tell your channel will grow after this. The colouring is better. The background is great.
But please don't sacrifice yourself to grow this channel. Take a break for as long as needed. It's all good. I have to catch up on your podcasts anyway! :)

I have missed your videos and have been a little worries about you. I don't go in much for social media though, mostly since you usually need friends.
Honestly, if I could get over my fear and paranoia of putting financial details on my computer I would donate a small amount to the channel. It has helped me a lot over the past few years.
