- This video if for beginners or new users of the Nokta Makro Legend. In this video, I'll walk you through setting up your volume for different tone breaks but I'll also show what Discrimination Patterns are and why they are important when you change the volume of the tone breaks. The Legend is a pretty cool metal detector for the price. If you are a fan of the Simplex you are going to love the Legend. If you like to hear everything under the coil including those iron tones this video will help you get the most out of the Noka Makro Legend.

I just bought the Legend and see it only came with update V1.07. I've downloaded the new updates to my
Macbook Air. When attempting to connect to the MAC it doesn't seem to see the Legend. I also borrowed
A Windows based device with the same issue. The screen light of the Legend lights but I see no message on my MAC or Lenovo laptop.

Thanks John for returning and the sub. I didn't have any issue with updating but it does seem a little weird locating the update file so just make sure you know where the file is located when doing the update if you point it to the right directory it should see it and continue from there. I can't speak for the MAC sorry.

Th e Legend looks like it will compete well with the Equinox 800 but me owning the Equinox not sure it is wise to buy the Legend as well..How do you like using the legend compaired to your Equinox...
I do like the Legend but I don't have near enough time on it. So far I think the Equinox still may have the upper head on unmasking but its pretty close. As they keep doing the updates it may get there. For the price you can't beat it and I do enjoy the build of the Legend better.
@@MentalMetal I’m looking at that one as well I decided to go with the simplex for my first one. You guys make it look s fn easy. Me and the wife went out to the yard to try it out it was comical lol. But it was my first learning experience and fun need to learn the tones and dig it all at first from what I gather. John at the time of this video I did not have it.
@@MentalMetal all ok I didn't know that have updated the legend with the 1.08 and if you have did it improve the metal detector
I updated it today and went through all of the updates. The new Iron bias seems to be a really good update. They made a ton of improvements but I honestly think they are cramming it full of stuff but making it more difficult to navigate. You will have to know how to get to the new features with button combinations etc. Its definitely improved and is probably equal to or better than the Nox now.
