Asami says she likes singing sad songs and somehow this song, which was bright and inspiring when played in its original metal version, seems so melancholy and forlorn when sung this way. It is amazing the breath control she uses when she sings, and her range from low to high is outstanding.

imagine Asami has a solo album and sings a lot of songs(English or Japanese lyrics don't matter). But I'm glad Lovebites have Asami and I want her to be in Lovebites for forever.
Finally, this is the most beautiful performance of Lobites, where everybody can hear the real Asami voice (no autotune, no effects) and the great skills of Miyako on piano. And this is only a part of Lovebites, you have to added Haruna, Midori and ... Rosana (no more unfortunately)!
THAT WAS AMAZING... Assami is that of a enchanting siren.. a classically trained Savage.. prancing Gracefully around with the stage presence of Stevie Nicks. love Midori she's a monster,. But Myoko is god-FN'ZILLA.. .. in guitar years she's still a baby. She still more comfortable with the piano. But just as passionate. When she got the keyboard guitar at vengeance Blu-ray she's super lit up. Best of both worlds. Myoko is one of thee most humble human beings.. she said in an interview that she hopes to make a living from music for the rest of her life.. she really doesn't know how good she is.. she's still in first gear.. how scary is that.. Miho came out of retirement; and with Haruna; and put together something truly exceptional.. These girls are special. Thank you very much for the vid I'll be back..
Yes I found that interesting too when I first heard that Miyako was initially hired on as a support guitarist and keyboard player. She soon signed on full time, probably because the rest of the band realized how good she was, and how talented she is as a musician and writer so they signed her real quick before she escaped. I too found it incredulous that Miho left. I mean she seemed like the least likeliest person to leave considering she was the band's founder and leader and is a true metal head. So weird, and the translation of Miho's statement doesn't clearly explain her reasoning. She seemed intentionally vague about it anyway. So it is hard to fully judge her decision. Obviously, from our point of view, it seems like a bad decision because of how great Lovebites is. But we don't know the full story and how the pandemic affected her and her family, and what was and still is going through her head. We will just have to hope they find a replacement who is as good as she was and rally around that person so Lovebites can continue on writing and playing great music.

Gorgeous ! When I read some who say that Asami does not have the voice to interpret metal ... There is even one who wrote that his fault was not knowing how to scream !!!! Let these people listen to this and maybe with a little intelligence they will reconsider their opinions.
All the greats do acoustic versions.. some are really great some are even sick. Buuuut this does NOT qualify as a "version" THIS IS TRULY EXCEPTIONAL! If I were King; I would build the perfect acoustic studio and then turn them loose. I would resurrect MTV unplugged.. just to have a whole concert on demand for people who couldn't make the live concert.. these girls are now going viral every hour even every minute there are LOVEBITES newbies getting there cherry popped every hour and they share it to others who share it.. it's insane.. my daughter does sound/score for theater.. "dad; covid has devastated everything. Including how to live, love, laugh, SING... To remember how to feel..alive again. This is a critical component for the healing and the opportunity to be better. I hope they watch TH-cam so they can feel the love from your gift.
