I set out to precisely count how many guitar handoffs there were between Miyako and Midori and kept coming up with 16 in total. That’s not counting the sections in between where they played in harmonic unison. But the last 1:38 of Scream for Me was the most intense in number of solos amounting to a guitar duel for the ages, the likes of have never been performed before. Truly a guitar shredfest and candy for the ears. Light up your brain, light it up with Lovebites!

In my 50 years of listening to rock/heavy metal and going to concerts, none of the greats of the past has done it this good let alone many solos in one song. I love every member of this band, but I don't feel like this performance was entirely successful. Midori tries that crosshands solo at 6:37, and I feel like she doesn't exactly stick the landing. Also, it feels like Asami gets a bit screechy on this one. That's probably a bit nitpicky, but knowing how great all five of them are, I expect that greatness whenever they perform. I prefer the "Awakening From Abyss" version of this song.
