The Eurus Greyrat family likes young boys that's why they have a matriarchal family. Even the boys like boys which Zenoba hinted at in Vol19. And so the succubus won't work on them because it didn't work on Talhand.

Some cut LN stuff (if you care lmao) because there was a lot. The desert section had enough material for a whole extra episode, but most of it was worldbuilding and Elinalise interactions.
They run into many other creatures not shown in the anime, like a marching army of giant ants that they have to hide from behind a dune, and massive sandworms -- one of which swallows Rudeus whole. He uses wind magic to slice it apart from the inside and earth magic to unbury himself, but he comes out to see Elinalise has been poisoned by one of the giant scorpions because his getting dragged off made her lose focus, casts detoxification to save her life like she saved his life from the succubus. Just a nice show of much they're looking out for each other. At one point they try traveling at night and learn a few things about the local ecosystem. Another succubus attacks, using giant bats to fend off any female adventurers while she incapacitates males with her pheromones (which don't work on females... or gay men, allegedly). Thanks to the previous experience, Rudeus is able to identify the threat and use long range magic to deal with her while her guard is down in seduce mode (yet only hurts her because he can't bring himself to kill something that looks so humanoid, which is an interesting point). In the midst of that chaos, a pack of raptors arrives that they have to fight off. Rudy theorizes that succubi pheromone attracts other fauna because they know it leads to prey that the pheromone is used to ensnare, and the raptor packs are in turn hunted by feathered dinosaurs the size of a T-rex. Rudy and Lise sense something even bigger than that is on its way, and take the opportunity to escape while the giant dinos and raptors deal with each other. Mostly unimportant stuff but I liked how it set up an interesting food chain and made the Begaritt continent feel very dangerous.
Outside one of the oasis market towns, the duo run into a traveling merchant with several bodyguards fending off a pack of gryphons and quickly save the group, afterwards hiring the merchant as a guide since he's heading the same way for trade. We get to know the bodyguards a bit and hear about their warrior culture. They speak a whole different language and one even has a demon eye. The locals always travel with warrior women to deal with succubi attacks, because an all-male party would simply get wiped if caught unaware. At one point, their little caravan is ambushed by a large group of bandits on horseback while a bunch more rain poison arrows down on them. The merchant's group loses a man and one of the camels carrying his inventory. Rudeus holds the attackers off by casting fog over the area to hide them from the archers, casting quagmire to slow down/trip up the mounted pursuers, and summons a two meter-high wall of earth to buy them time to run away. The whole time Elinalise is literally shielding him from the arrows. Once they've safely escaped, one of the warriors criticizes Rudy for not wreaking havoc on the bandits if his magic is so strong. They could have avenged the man they lost. Rudeus reflects on the idea that he potentially killed some of those people if they smashed into his wall headfirst because of the fog. It doesn't bother him much considering the situation, but he realizes the notion of killing them never entered his mind despite the danger they presented, and still feels queasy at the thought of firing direct attack spells to murder with intent. Elinalise defends him from the warrior and gives him words of comfort that he made the right call because there were so many and she's there to back him up and bring him home -- a nice bonding moment with grandma. Again, it's mostly worldbuilding that got lost (and some Elinalise-Rudeus bromance), but it's a shame it got cut since it's a fun sequence.

I suspect its because the next volume they need to adapt has way more chapters than the previous ones, so they're making space for it

Yeah. This episode adapted volume 11, which has 14 chapters, while volume 12 has 16 chapters
Plus, like the other guy said, most of it was just worldbuilding, while the next volume is directly related to the story
Cliff locks in on his first one because the Milis religion is monogamous. This makes his relationship with Elinalise more incredulous because the life Elinalise led before was the antithesis of monogamy. Cliff sees past that for who she is and wants to help her with her curse. Cliff is goated
The things is that (from last videos comment) Practitioners of the Water God Style can counter magicians. the Water God Style is a sword style that focuses on simply countering whatever you opponents do. It barely has any proactive offensive moves. Its deadly and it can counter magic. There is a counter for every move in the Water God Style. Paul was Advanced Tier in it
This episode skipped a lot of content, the journey through the desert was supposed to take another two episodes.
Cliff asked if he can go but Elinalise told him that he can't because he doesn't have any experience as an adventurer , he even tried to go with soldat in last cour but he perform badly and the beggrit continent is second most dangerous continent after the demon continent. But cliff himself is one of the best students in the university but his stamina is not high (which makes me think how is he keeping up with Elinalise 😅?).
when Rudy talked with linia and pursena they told him that they would be graduate in two years since they are in 6 year now and its 7 years to study in the academy. And Rudy was thinking about what man god told him absorbing them on how attractive they are and imaging a foursome with them and Sylphie . And he told them on how someone recommended to make a move in them and they were shocked because they were flirting with him in the past year but didn't do anything to them.
Rudy mention that the dragon crest in the teleportation ruins was similar to the one he saw in the books about the doll they captured.
Unfortunately they cut the enteractions between the two which was gold like one of them was before they teleport and said "Elinalise, let's make nanahoshi regret it if we end up in the ocean "

The people in the beggirt speaks different language called the fighting god Tonge which is similar to the human language. Luckily Rudy learned it when he was teaching eris.
Thay saved merchants from gryphons and ended up being bodyguards for them in exchange to deliver them to rapan. But they ended up facing an army of bandits with poison arrows and thay almost died but Elinalise protected Rudy from them when they were Running away. But some died , and one of the worries women was mad at Rudy because she thought Rudy could have killed the bandits but Rudy wasn't even thinking about that he was thinking how to get away. But Elinalise was defending Rudy and was ready to fight the women .She was mad because one of the people that died was someone she had a child with. So in beggirt people always travel with number of women because as you saw succubis are very dangerous for men thier pheromones only attracted men and women hate that smell so the women would fight it and sleep with the men to cure them because unlike Rudy most of them doesn't know intermediate detoxification magic so its the only way. So of course sometimes they end up was a child .
That was a lot . But acutely there a lot of things I didn't mention, this is probably the biggest cut they have ever done in the show .
As a mage, Rudeus has shown he isn't the only one capable of voiceless casting, since he taught it to Sylphy. Rudeus is better than the mages at school is because he already has some combat experience from the Demon Continent. The problem is he treated a lot of those encounters like a game, which is to be expected from early Rudeus.
Aisha and Norn live on the other side of the house and Nanahoshi was not jealous but uncomfortable that she heard it 37:52
Also Rudy used earth magic to block off sound from their room during Ashi and Norn's stay while he didn't bother to think about it for Nanahoshi
@@wisteria3173 poor bananahoshi. Sylphie just doesn't understand their relationship. And they speak foreign language amongst themselves. Usually when she is with Rudy. So I can understand that reaction in a sense.

Whelp, this is what 6 chapters in 1 episode looks like, everything is super rushed and nothing felt as it should have imo.
Im most sad that they gave Lise the Badi treatment, and cut out literally 90% of all character interaction she has - in fact Rudy and Lise banter is some of the best in the entirety of MT and she gets a lot of character growth here, them skipping all of it borderline ruins her character, or just makes her extremely shallow sadly. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of worldbuilding being skipped here, but whatever
Eh, a lot of things were cut out in the series, if you want you can read it, briefly saying what was cut out:
Orsted uses these teleportation circles to travel around the world.
Orsted made Nanahoshi swear that she would keep it a secret since it was forbidden magic.
Nanahoshi couldn't remember their location.
Therefore, while traveling with Orsted, she drew or bought maps. To find out their location, she "randomly" asked Orsted about it
and took notes so that someday, if necessary, I could use them.
Monsters that were missed: sandworms, phalanx ants, bats (about 50 cm in length), garudas (feathered dinosaurs), hippopotamus (whose height was about 100 meters, and in general their size was from 100 to 1000 meters).
Now about succubi (they met them several times in LN): succubi emit pheromones (showed pink smoke). Because of him, men get excited, they see a beautiful woman in a succubus, and this is how they lure men.
You can get rid of pheromones either by detoxification magic or by sleeping with a woman.
Next is the trip to Begarit (they missed almost the entire trip), the main thing they missed:
Traveling through the desert, they saved a group of people (among whom was a merchant) from griffins.
After that they came to the city of "Bazaar".
There they met Galban (the same merchant), he invited them to join his caravan (they were also going to the Labyrinth City).
On the way, they were attacked by a pack of robbers (100 people they could see).
One person from the group died (there were only 6 of them, including Rudeus and Elinalise).
Then they reached Lapan (Labyrinth City) together with the caravan, and not like in the anime.
