    You should upload a 0-60 using this method... Sport s+ mode, manual shift it so it can rev to 7300, make sure the A/C is off, keep traction control on, keep left foot on the brake and blip throttle to 1000 rpm or so to "tighten up" the drivetrain and then launch at 800 rpm.

    Reversing into a spot or onto a steeper driveway, watch the lower exhaust tips. Have a light scrape on one of my lower tips from a steeper driveway. Probably much worse if there’s passengers and cargo.

    How are the springs at high speeds? I had H&Rs in my Acura that felt a little more bouncy at fwy speeds, that and scrapping are what’s holding me back from putting them on my IS.

    • @V8Brah
      @V8Brah  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They're better at high speeds than stock for sure. Ride quality is indistinguishable, and no scraping. It's only a 1" drop.

  • @wil3159
    @wil3159 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hows the front end of it when you get on it. I noticed that when you get on it the nose of the car raises quite a bit and it squats hard. Like if the oem springs are just a bit too soft for this car.

    • @V8Brah
      @V8Brah  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's less lift because the spring rate is stiffer which prevents counter-torque from extending the front springs as much. Swift told me it's 7-8 kg/mm Front and 14 kg/mm Rear. Stock is 3.7 kg/mm F and 8 kg/mm R.

    hey quick question! do you feel any jerking at slow speed when approaching a stop sign? mine does that and it's really annoying, when transmission shifts from 5th to third gear it gives that rough downshift feel

    • @V8Brah
      @V8Brah  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah the transmission is a little jerky at certain times. I've heard that's normal for this car.

    • @floggyWM1
      @floggyWM1 ปีที่แล้ว

      transmission is jerky on IS500, especially if you are in sport+ mode, then it gets super jerky cuz its trying to give you that sports feel. Not as jerky in ECO mode

      I don't know the actual spring rates but Swift told me they'd be branded as Spec-R and if you look at their Lexus product page their Spec-R for GS F and RC F tends to have a slightly higher spring rates compared to their other products. Yes they work with AVS!
