    I lost 4kg in a month and realised ...i just adjusted my meals .. didn't skip any .... Just watched myself for satiety and ate smaller portions more often... Exercised atleast 3 times a week and tried to sleep well ... I am glad u acknowledge calorie counting isnt the best way.. it's more learning what makes one's body at its best

    I love the bilingual videos! Most of the world is at LEAST bilingual, even though I don't know German, it's really cool to hear it! It's completely normal to switch between languages. Even though I'm not 100% fluent in my second language, I don't think I could go even a day without using it! Just found your channel and I'm loving your videos! Thank you!

    I was so happy to hear that you explained, succinctly, but actually explained the cortisol aspect of weight gain and didn't just say "stress makes you gain weight" and left it at that.

      @@annaneubert That would be a fun video to make! I love explaining all these kinds of biology details to my friends/family to connect it to our daily actions. I think it really helps combat some diet culture things too when you actually get into the science and psychology of how our body works on a chemical and microscopic level

    I track calories only because I am obese and I have binge eating disorder. Tracking calories for me just really helps me understand exactly how many calories I was consuming which was a lot. I am hoping I get to the stage where I can just eat intuitively like you.

    Thankyou for being so honest, I haven’t been to the gym in weeks/months. I think I just kept doing things that other people were doing instead of doing what I wanna be doing. I love a good intense sweaty workout where I can just move my body and push it 🤍 Tomorrow I’m going for my first run in a long time, and I’m ready to slowly get back to exercising again and hopefully falling in love with it too 🤍

    I really loved this video. Very honest and just enjoyable to watch. I absolutely loved when you had to switch to your native language for the skincare ad. Your voice is so soothing! Again, great content and it’s amazing how stress can really throw a wrench in our weight loss plans. Just try and stay relaxed, happy, and eat well! Food is not the enemy!

    Ich muss ehrlich gestehen, dass ich jetzt seit etwas mehr als einen Monat meine komplette Ernährung umgestellt habe. Ich hab auch schon etwas abgenommen, aber sehe null Veränderungen an meinem Körper, was mich echt krass beschäftigt. Jeden Tag mache ich mir so einen Druck, wann man dann jetzt endlich mal was sieht…. Und ich muss sagen nach deinem Video fühle ich mich viel besser. Dank dir, versuche ich jetzt wirklich dass ganze nicht so streng zu sehen. Ich hoffe ich kann es so gut umsetzen & meine neue Ernährung sowie den Sport den ich jetzt auch angefangen habe zu meinem LIFESTYLE zu machen. Sowie du. Safe place

    I'm on a very similar path - working on cutting out refined sugar, eating more balanced meals + moving my body, and also not counting calories. I have PCOS and high cortisol levels, but I feel counting calories would interfere with my (fairly good) relationship with food.

    I sometimes struggle to know what to have for breakfast, thank you for sharing your ideas. I will love to try them out. Cutting out refined cane sugar is like cutting out a drug and you will shed the weight very fast. I have done this in the past and it works. I would love some of the recipes of what you made.

      Seed oils are worse than sugar. Canola oil
      Corn oil
      Soybean oil etc etc . Read labels. Most store bought tortillas and bread have this . Store bought bread also sugar in it 😱

    I actually agree with almost everything you mentioned, I also relate to your thyroid issue because I had a thyroidectomy before and it's kinda affecting my weight loss process. However, I tried a low carb diet (not in the traditional meaning, I basically cut simple and refined carbs like bread, pasta, and rice... but I still ate startchy veggies) during the past 6 months and it did work like I lost 6+ kilos. I was actually determined and didn't really have issues with that but I'm a bread lover and it bothered me a bit so whenever I go back to eating bread even in small portions I'd gain weight :/

    Just wanted to point out she said she doesn’t want to count calories ANYMORE. meaning she has done it before, and chose not to continue which is fine. But if you are a person who is just starting out on your healthy journey then I strongly recommend [after speaking with doctor ] to focus on some form of portion control. You can use your hands or count calories, so that you can get an idea of what a healthy portion size looks like. If you wish to stop afterwards and eat intuitively then that’s fine.

    Hey! I do have a question, like when u said : I eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full. But what if you’re not physically hungry but you are mentally… how does that work?
