Great video. What caused those holes/gouges in the granite towards the beginning? Natural?

The holes are called Vuggs. They are often caused by mineralization that gets removed through erosion or dissolution. Thanks for your interest!

Nope, managed to stay dry this time. I was just south of lake Wanapitei.
