Superb driving! I really appreciated the addition of the pedal cam as a novice stick-shift driver! Car sounds great as well! I was surprised at the very first mic-blow out, but the driving made up for it.
At 4:21 can’t watch it anymore, that buzzing noise is killing my eardrum, excelling driving that, heal and toe to perfection… crazy. Is your 350z tuned? WhAt mods and power Is it running. Looks really fast
😂 yeh I’ve upgraded the mic in my later videos to stop this . Power wise it’s the usual exhaust and air filter and a uprev. Made 296 bhp so a little above stock
@@Markthompson4119 that’s very impressive how quick it is . How reliable is 350z as a track car? I’ve been researching to see what car to get to track. Do you have full list of mods you’ve done to it including handeling. Does it have cage etc

It’s called “ heel and toe “. The idea is to basically blip the throttle on downshifts so you match engine speed to road speed. You run the risk of locking up the driven wheels if this isn’t done when driving hard on track
Hi mate can I pick your brain please I have been driving for 30 years and have just picked up an EP3 six weeks ago it is the first 'sportscar' I have ever owned and I have been taking it out on some local B roads I have been trying this technique 'heel and toe' as well as rev matching Do I literally just tap the throttle? I feel like I am going to burn my clutch out it is horrible to learn and I am a good driver in general Its doing something completely alien to what I have done for the last 30 years any tips or advice please
Hi mate , I’d first try just going for a drive on a quiet road and when rolling and slowing down just blip the throttle as you change down gears ( leave the brake out of it for the minute). This will give you a good idea of how much you need to blip in order to make a smooth downshift as it’s going to be different for every car. Once you get the hang of that then introduce braking as you change down. Some twist the foot like me some roll the foot over to the throttle. Try both methods as pedal placement has a lot to do with what works best for you. It’s going to feel unnatural and jerky at first but with practice it then becomes strange not doing it. It’s a lot easier doing on track than the road as braking hard brings the brake pedal in line with the throttle which helps
@@Markthompson4119 thanks, what year is your Z, I'm looking to get an 03 which is slightly less power but it will be just for track use. Hopefully yours was realiable?
Mines a 2004, apart from the usual wear items, brakes etc it’s been bulletproof. The lack of power compared to the later models really isn’t noticed on track

Nice heel toe so smooth
Nice Z man
Looks quite chilled. Not just stamping on the clutch then dropping it

Awsome video im just starting to learn how cars work but why sometimed when ypu down shift you use both brake and you tap accel

Did you re-upholster the steering wheel? I'm looking to add the stripe to mine and yours looks quite nice
Yeh it was done by a company in the uk called Royal steering wheels . Covered in alcantara and added 5mm of thickness to the wheel
