- Huge, huge thank you to Noah and Erik, I wouldn't have found this truck or been able to keep up without them. This is Mesa's spare rear loader, and I never thought I'd be able to film it. Well, after trading the International to another department, and the new rear loader being down for a while, came my chance! Mesa offers bulk on a call in basis, as well as for a bunch of apartments that are on a regular schedule. Very difficult to track down and film. Usually both operators ride together, but at the time they were not allowed to, so one had to follow in a pickup.
Probably the only Leach of this age left around here, Phoenix recently decommissioned their last Mack :( Filmed in February. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Great catch! I'm old enough to remember the old leach 2r's with the single handle for the blade. When you want it done right, you do it with a Leach!

Great find! Do they pickup yard waste too or just bulky house items? I would imagine yard waste would be a pain to collect without a tractor. Awesome footage!
They might take yard waste if it's bagged, boxed, or bundled, not sure tho.
We take yard waste anyway pretty much. We would definitely like it to be bagged up. But it almost never happens.
How many stops do residential, commercial and bulk have a day?
Depends on where at, which city or company. Out here, residential typically 1000-1500 homes, commercial 100-200 containers, bulk all depends on what's out and if the program is on call or on a normal schedule

@@723BigJB yes that is each operator. out here we have much more commercial stops that don't require the operator to leave the truck so they can pick up more cans. same with automated side loaders. some places have scheduled bulk trash, say every month, and other places you have to call in to have your bulk items picked up
