That's the kinda stuff you gotta look out for... water mixed in with all the slop, that gets scooped up by the packer with all the rubbish, and blasted out through all the gaps under pressure. Very entertaining to watch on the screen, but a very hazardous place to be in person haha Awesome kick bar action as per usual - that high lift into the latches, following by that gravity drop into the hopper is just great :D Good sounding truck too, got the right kinda horn to match. Something I love about a lot of the RLs up there too is that very visible reeving cylinder on top of the body, it's up there sitting fat and tall, really gives a RL that proper commercial look if you ask me.
AussieGarbo I agree! All the slamming around of the dumpsters makes for a great video. Gets a tad irritating after a while of doing it yourself though hearing nothing but loaded dumpsters slamming down into the hopper lol even then though, never gets old. Agreed tho, very awful spot to be when juices are shooting. That’s why I make a point to never walk behind the packer area when it’s running, just not worth it. Glad you enjoyed this
Like I said when you first found this guy, so not used to seeing Waste Connections colored trucks in your area! Curious as to why they keep this an RL route, especially the school - any idea if they have some benefit with running an RL here specifically? Would think it would be better to have it be an FEL route if he's doing commercial the entire day. I knew schools have nasty bins but this is next level haha. I guess PNW rain doesn't help with the already wet load. All that liquid shooting out during the dump cycles and then more coming out of the hopper as the packer cycled was awesome! Not a fun route to run at all, but have to say that just watching the liquids and juices shoot out at random times was especially entertaining from a viewer's POV (like at 3:45 and 4:37 haha). I bet that area just smelled gross! Poor driver probably gets more than a enough garbage juice sprayed on him throughout the day. Awesome video, knew it was going to be good but was pleasantly surprised with the other aspects that made the video that much better. Definitely one of my favorite RL videos on YT!

Believe it or not, this yard doesn’t have any FLs, so this is what there is to choose from haha this is the worst stop of the whole touted the rest is almost all country rural residential dumpsters. Most of it is driving down 1 long road along the water too
not wanting to cause an internet fight but...British and most European rear loaders are better cos everything is contained. also, bin lids totally cover the bin so no rain gets in if its shut
@@DanielWDonuts That's to stop splash back like what happend at 5:12. They're also full automated so the drivers feet don't get wet standing pulling levers.
It's videos like this that make me wish dumpster collection with rear loaders, were more common in SoCal. Very nice catch, and it's nice to know you got a full video pretty much on one stop lol. It was very satisfying to watch! I always love packers as fast as this one, and the wet trash was a nice touch too. Nice job!
Interesting how the truck doesn’t have to even remotely contain the juice. I know that a private business faces huge fines for garbage juices getting into storm drains. At least in my area of the US.
