So im new to the hobby, currently building a SCX24 Gladiator. I live like 15 minutes away from Markham Park! Thats a really great course ! Cool build maybe ill see you around there.
Those are some awesome mods for this little rc, adding extra weight always a must to stay glued to the course, I'm all about the cosmetics for mine as cant afford all those fancy extras! Great video though!
Nice upgrades I just did almost the same upgrades on my Defender M. I’m very happy with the Treal wheels. I have all red metal links & steering links. Also the diff covers the weight definitely helps it I just need to get the low gear motor trans combo. I pulled the scale stuff off the rear & placed it on top in the basket. I have the Injora sticky compound tires. So far so good.
I have done the same thing with the injora beedlock rims. But you can make the stock tires fit on them.if you cut the center ring down to 5/16 wide you will be able to lock the outer rims together.i wanted to save the tires from the bronco i had a spare set to mess with.they workd out well.looks grate what you have done so far.
Any problems with your stock servo after upgrades? I'm trying to figure out what I want to try to use as a replacement when mine goes. Ill bet the plastic gears go with the metal drive shafts. I can't seem to find OD/UD for it or metal crawling gears.
@@Joercgarage Right on! I ended up using an Eco power 640T to replace the stock one. Had to file a little to fit into my brass mount. Going to take it up to the track soon.
The modulation seemed a little awkward without upgrading the transmission (low range 40.3:1). In my opinion, the top five upgrades without changing the transmission set and bearings lack improvement. Anyway, Nice video!
What state is your park in? Wanting to have my city to build courses like this and a drag strip. Any advice would help me to approach the city council. Great video. I’m a new subscriber
Thanks for the support 👊🏻it’s in Florida to be honest I’m not sure how it works its my local park by me and I’m just happy it has a crawler course for my 1/10 and mini crawlers
Still torn for the next upgrade btwn going furitek brushless or the Holmes hobby 66t with low range gear set I would like to keep my pro scale light kit so leaning Holmes hobby thanks for the info👊🏻
Best upgrade is a new lightweight body! Just keep the defender body for scale looks. The bronco body is waaaay better for crawling if you want a little balance between performance and scale
@@Joercgarage they can still perform great while looking crazy scale but just to eek out those hard lines 😈 Sometimes I just run mine without a body at all 🤷🏼♂️
Nice video you win a suscriber
Thanks for the support 👊🏻
Thanks for the ideas! We’ve had our TRX4M for four days, and my son broke the driveshaft on the second day lol. So that was our first upgrade.
Thanks for watching 🙌🏻
Just got my first RC Thanks so much for the instructional video. The first upgrade I did was the Light kit. I'M HOOKED!!
Nice next add some brass weights down low u won’t regrets it….

Thanks yes sir it is a must have 1/18 for any collection
Man the bead lock tires looks so good I am thinking to get the truck and putting the tires on it👍❤️

Looks fantastic and gets around great now.👍🏼👍🏼

Nice yeah the mini course is a little under construction At
The moment needs a little refresh of sorts the 1/10 scale is still really good

Good to know … but I really like my injora tires they are a super soft compound..
Interesting stuff - the extra weight makes a huge difference to climbing performance! I guess I'll be looking at what's on offer now!😄
The brass weight makes a nice difference
Thank you for this it’s given me some ideas 🇬🇧
I was your 1000th sub great channel!
Thank you 👍🏻
Great intro.
That defender is prob gonna be my next build. I love how it looks. Id like to see the red and green side by side
The trx4m defender is a great platform to build you won’t be disappointed

Servo upgrade absolute must
Agreed👍🏻
Honestly though these rigs run like a 1/10 scale right out of the box. Enjoy.
Keep the shiny side up. 😉

I’m mostly wanting to change my gearing. That’s tomorrow. I have the blue bronco.
@@BDZ559 the low range gear at did make it crawl better on the low end end
Is that course for 1/10 scale and 1/18? Markham park is near me. Just wondering
they have both currently the small scale rock course is in a little rough shape at the moment.
1k bro!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes finally 👊🏻
I just picked up a grey one.
nice the grey to me is the best color I wanted it but they didn't have it when I picked up mine
Just an FYI. Lower turn motors are faster. Not slower. A 66 turn will be faster than stock.

hi, can you put a sound module on that?
Not the trx4m but I have one on my 1/10 trx
Where do you find all this ?
Amazon
