- Hello Weekend Crafter!
For this weekend, I am sharing a short tutorial on how to make huggie earrings or hoops. Huggie earrings are a style of hoops that sit closer to the ear. So essentially hoops, but smaller.
Two main things that you will need to make these are the following:
clay extruder - www.amazon.com/Stainless-Extr...
small metal cutters - www.amazon.com/Premo-Sculpey-...

Amazing tutorial… thank you so much 😊
Thank you for watching! Appreciate it 😊
Thank you for a lovely tutorial. I learned a lot and plan to use your ideas. One problem though is that superglue does not attach posts longterm (they will pop off eventually). You need either a small circle of the same color clay or liquid clay over the post after you have glued it on.
Thanks for your advice 😊 And thanks for stopping by 🥰
Great job thank you x

Thank you for watching 😊
Nice, what kind of glue did you use.
What I had on hand was super glue, which worked out fine but the gold standard is using loctite glue for any attachments with polymer clay 😊
There beautiful but I thought huggies was when the earring attaches to the back of the hoop of its a connected circle. X
Oh I know what you’re talking about, those metal huggie hoops that sometimes have hinges that lock in place. From my research, a huggie hoop is a type of earring that are small and hug the ear. So both the metal type and the clay earrings I made are types of huggie hoops 😊
@@CraftTimeStudio Thankyou for replying and for clarification.
Would you be able to experiment and try to make the hugggies. ?
As Clay has some flexibility once baked I think it would be amazing.

@@bethanywilliams520 I will try what you've suggested and share if I'm successful =)
