Trying to get some Christmas presents done instead of wire sculptures :) My sister came back from Europe with a cut coin and it has intrigued me ever since but the employees at Lowe's or Home Depot aren't familiar with this refined art form. Hey Andrew, you can now progress to a CAM action instead of tightening the tension of the blade with a screw, and you can also progress to a newer TITANIUM frame, FYI, cheers mate.
Hi, I'm going to get one, but now I see they make the cam lever one too. Do I need that or this? I'm new to jewelry making, but learn fast, and am taking on hard projects, and I like to saw, but hate poking my sternum, with the old saws, and I have a bad back, so, the less time I have to sit, fiddling with things, and just saw, the better. Which is best for multiple piercings? Also, I saw someone using the cam lever saw, but they did not push the lever all the way back. They had it vertical. They said, as the blade stretched, to just push the cam lever back a little more and more. Advise me please! Thanks!! Also, btw, what's up with the newer Knew concepts gRay colored, bird cage saw. It's not red?? Do I need that??? Tooooooo many choices. I just want to not pop blades, and be quick, and precise, and painless.
you can buy a ordinary steel juwelry saw also with a tensioning screw, if your buying without it your limiting yourselve and its stupid also, it doesn't cost more. about the knew concepts saw, it cost ten times more than a ordinary steel jewelry saw, and for what, the only benefit it has is its leight weight, 2/3 of the weight of a steel version. who buys one is just stupid enough to believe in commercials instead of real knowledgement
