Have you ever seen a company only increase prices at the level of increased COGS? Ever? No. You haven't. Could you do a video on how other countries put tariffs on the USA for our products like China, Mexico, Europe, etc. Just wondering how much they charge for our products in other countries
It’s about the possibility of tariffs, which actually may balance things and help both China and US. I think they are meant to be the stick for a better trade deal.
I was at a showcase two years ago where gentleman was talking about companies wanting to move out of China then because of the escalating political tensions. Lots of companies may of already started some of the necessary paperwork to move out even before now.
Relocating manufacturing facilities presents significant challenges. The process involves managing downtime, establishing operations in a new location, and ensuring that the workforce is properly trained and qualified. I believe that these factors may contribute to increasing costs over time.…in short, everything will become very expansive!
Truthfully USA imports too much trade deficit vs surplus. Made in America shipped to other countries should be the future. So many German cars and Italian products in USA. Support your Country. Hopefully with USA lead in AI and Tesla full self driving and space X Starlink more USA exports vs imports. We need another manufacturing revolution in the USA. Creditor nation again
Another purpose of the tariffs is to equal the playing field for American exports as many countries tariff them. I am sure if a country in Europe or Asia agrees to remove tariffs on American goods, then the US will also remove the tariffs.
Everything points to much higher inflation in the USA from higher tariff. Tariff only to protect if there is already a domestic industry. This mean everything low tech, or lets say cheap goods we buy from Amazon, Ebay, Temu, suddenly now have tariff applied as a tax to the average citizen. Or worse, sellers see no point selling to USA if there is no profit and plenty of hassle Instead focus on other friendly new alliance countries. To me just points to life will get much harder and more expensive.
Even if it cost a higher price to do it in China than before, it will still be cheaper than doing it in the US. So why would the companies leave? Also, we sell our product out of US, so now they gonna put high tariffs on us as well. It has happened before...... this is not the first time a president does this.
A family member is a CFO of a chemical company. In the United States, everybody has to wear gas mask and other precautions, but in European countries and in China, no precautions need to be taken and thus money savings.
You know.. im confused, why can't the business just produce and sell their product in each country, example: The nikes made in china are sold only in china ones made in the UK sold only in the UK. Wouldn't that stimulate and help each country?
“Why would I work in the factory while I can just sit at home and collect all the benefits?” It’s facts hourly rate is not the only reason labor cost in us are so high
The USA caused all these problems by going over to cheaper countries. Why make a hat for $10 in America with factories only open five days out of the week versus China where the hat can be made for five dollars and their factories are open 24/7 days a week. Early in my life I owned a business and I was happy with 100% profit. Anesthesiologists started hiring nurses so they could run more operating rooms increasing their cash flow. Every product makes pollution and that’s a big cost factor in the United States. China buys USA coal and burns it, We still breathe it in the USA. Hawaii is 30% renewable not because of electric companies or government but private rooftop solar. Electric companies and government are fine with the status quo.
China went from high quality to junk across the the full spectrum of manufactureing. The little guy pays for a tariff. You miss represented your white board dog and pony show. You give a good message. You do not hath to twist how tariffs really work. Right but wrong on so many levels. Best Regards Jack.
Seems like there alot of people still thinking it's going to come back. He said we don't know what will happen. Based on the past and basic logic it will not work. Every economist says it's inflationary. Plus considering the mass deportation of a workforce it's going to cause a downturn. Elon and the rest of them will be ok.
Also, although history rhymes, Democrat vs Republican leadership is one thing, but.... this new Trump gov't, with RFK, Elon, Vivek, etc, is.... very different than any Republican gov't we've seen. I'd be intereeted to hear your thoughts on the significance and likely novel impacts of these differences. I've signed up for the Tuesday call, so I'm looking forward to getting your insight on this!
Cost of goods MAY go up due to tariffs, but it will create MORE JOBS & WHEN WE DRILL energy cost will LOWER.. Trump has explained this, whether it will work or not.. TBD. 7:57
Other nations want to work with the United States so tariffs ultimately steer production from China to those smaller nations. Those nations will compete to produce for us which keeps costs low.
🤣🤣Bro wants a line worker. Maybe we invest in education, and get people new skills. Not give them jobs that will be taken by AI and robots soon. Its 2024, and there is no longer any reason to not believe this because its already happening.
What about the coming melt-up? What are your thoughts about that? Do you think Trumps economy will delay it? Will he have time to pre-empt it and delay or even stop it?
You do not think China foresee this? Secondly, going back to US, you shoe price will not be $160 but $350. You think supply chain and manufacturing will suddenly appear? What do you think will happen? Inflation, trade freezes.....depression. Think about it.
Entrepreneurs in China feels otherwise. After the previous trade war, they are not phased this time and think the in mid to long term, Trump will help boost China’s domestic innovation and consumption

@@LastDragonElManifestoAmericans are not built for factory jobs. I worked at Amazon for a while and all they do is complain about the word load.
This video is amazing 🎉
Could you do a video on how other countries put tariffs on the USA for our products like China, Mexico, Europe, etc. Just wondering how much they charge for our products in other countries
It’s about the possibility of tariffs, which actually may balance things and help both China and US. I think they are meant to be the stick for a better trade deal.
Thanks for the advice! Got XAI58N, feeling bullish! 🚀
You mean like it was going to be anyways?
Sounds like domestic manufacturing will be kicking up. Or manufacturing is headed to India or Thailand etc
Truthfully USA imports too much trade deficit vs surplus. Made in America shipped to other countries should be the future. So many German cars and Italian products in USA. Support your
Country. Hopefully with USA lead in AI and Tesla full self driving and space X Starlink more USA exports vs imports. We need another manufacturing revolution in the USA. Creditor nation again
Thank you so much for the information!❤
Might have needed to explain why the price goes up $60 when the cost only went up $15. The profit margin is not something people understand very well.
Many high energy users in Europe have moved to USA because of cheap energy. When Putin stopped NG flow to Europe high energy users left for USA.
The cost for the shoe went up by $15. Why did you quadtriple the cost?
Another purpose of the tariffs is to equal the playing field for American exports as many countries tariff them. I am sure if a country in Europe or Asia agrees to remove tariffs on American goods, then the US will also remove the tariffs.
Or people can stop buying things from other countries. Bring back manufacturing here. 🇺🇸
I appreciate your "rant" (lol) because it was honest, and that's rare. Thanks!
Just watched your video discussing XAI58N and I am very excited about this
India is getting finally some financial opportunity
China is not worried, the American consumers should because China export to the US is just a small percent of their total exports.
Me and my family already start living in minimalistic lifestyle.
I'm pretty shure we will be paying the tariffs.
O boo hoo China. .
BLMaga ✊🏿💪🏿🙅🏿♂️🇺🇸💯
It’s interesting that so many items I see now are made in places like Vietnam, Malaysia, India
As they have been for the last 30 or 40 years.
Right On!
China is circumventing tariff by heavily investing in Mexico and rebranding their goods in other countries. Tough work for #47.
Happy Gurupurab bro
Let's make money!
“Why would I work in the factory while I can just sit at home and collect all the benefits?” It’s facts hourly rate is not the only reason labor cost in us are so high
End all social security and food stamps. Everything!
If your shoes are too expensive, we will buy somewhere else since we don’t have to buy things from
China.
Or ... just finish your products in Mexico and import through USMCA. Businesses can easily sidestep such a clumsy instrument as a tariff.
USA has the cheapest cleanest energy with many foreign manufacturers building in USA vs Europe
Thank you
The USA caused all these problems by going over to cheaper countries.
Happy Guruparab Bhai Ji ✨🧿
China went from high quality to junk across the the full spectrum of manufactureing. The little guy pays for a tariff. You miss represented your white board dog and pony show. You give a good message. You do not hath to twist how tariffs really work. Right but wrong on so many levels. Best Regards Jack.
I want to find the apar-toon-ity!
They make them more cheaper then 25 d
Don’t worry the 100% robot workers Nike factory will be opening up in the US soon enough. 😂
Seems like there alot of people still thinking it's going to come back. He said we don't know what will happen. Based on the past and basic logic it will not work. Every economist says it's inflationary. Plus considering the mass deportation of a workforce it's going to cause a downturn. Elon and the rest of them will be ok.
Nike checkmark looks like a pea shell
Also, although history rhymes, Democrat vs Republican leadership is one thing, but.... this new Trump gov't, with RFK, Elon, Vivek, etc, is.... very different than any Republican gov't we've seen. I'd be intereeted to hear your thoughts on the significance and likely novel impacts of these differences. I've signed up for the Tuesday call, so I'm looking forward to getting your insight on this!
So does that mean stop investing in the I-Fund and only do C/S fund/stocks?? Got ya!
Real talk!
Mexico is getting the favories..lol
S&P500 is going down from now on
Let’s get all Americans working in factories MAGA
🤣🤣Bro wants a line worker. Maybe we invest in education, and get people new skills. Not give them jobs that will be taken by AI and robots soon. Its 2024, and there is no longer any reason to not believe this because its already happening.
People don’t want to work in factories anymore
Nope. I make way more money working I healthcare.
First you need to build factories.
Build robot manufacturing factory.
USA just a service company we need to be more
What about the coming melt-up?
What are your thoughts about that?
Do you think Trumps economy will delay it?
Will he have time to pre-empt it and delay or even stop it?
Buy New Balance they’re made in America
You do not think China foresee this? Secondly, going back to US, you shoe price will not be $160 but $350. You think supply chain and manufacturing will suddenly appear? What do you think will happen? Inflation, trade freezes.....depression. Think about it.
U would think the amount of interest America is paying them on the debt we owe them that They would be doing better. 😉
Once Elon Musk's XAI33x passes $1, it may NEVER see that low again
When will it be the U.S. turn ?
Move those businesses to Mexico and ease some of the border stress by providing jobs over there👉🏽
Definitely one option amongst many others.
Look for countries with trade surplus vs deficits
Heavy tariffs on chinese goods doesn't work, goods will find a way to enter into United States through other countries.
China is not in a recession.
Entrepreneurs in China feels otherwise. After the previous trade war, they are not phased this time and think the in mid to long term, Trump will help boost China’s domestic innovation and consumption
That the game to get them to give us some things
