Peter...you are AWESOME! I just started using After Effects today and I watched a couple of videos by other folks and I couldnèt understand a thing they said. I really questioned whether I would really be able to learn the program. Anyhow, after watching three of your videos, I felt that I had at least a chance of taming the beast! Keep up the good work. I really look forward to more AE tutorials.
This is f***ing incredible technology. In my freshman year of my Comp Sci major, we had to write our own extremely basic image editor (turned things negative and resized and blurred and stuff). This software is f***ing nuts.

@@c0pyimitati0n yup! i wasn't getting the results that i expected .. i thought that i would take the camera out.. click a picture and boom! it will come out perfect! but i didn't focused on the angles and stuff. like compositions.. by watching his videos i came to know that u have to go through some pain to get some gains.. :-p

It works with text but every time I use something else. Logos or anything but text the tracking is wiggly. What do I do wrong?
ive had the same problem,. maybe just create the text and copy the transformation information to your logo or something? i dont know. sorry

It could be your track points? Or maybe if your shutter speed was too slow when you shot the clip, and the video is blurry? I'm not really sure, but maybe it would work better with single point tracking. Here is a vid Matti did on tracking: th-cam.com/video/ma9P4nTVtDs/w-d-xo.html
@@telekinesistutorials2520 I think that's the way to do it. I use the "Create Null and Camera" option, copy the Position info of the null object, make my logo 3D, and paste the Position info to the logo position.
