    Hi
It had to happen. The rest of the bikes are taking a toll now.
lot of work has started accumulating, to begin with KTM rc 390 battery is the first one to bear the grunt. This is not a DIY, I just got a new battery to be sure that nothing in the wiring is conked off. Do let me know if you guys would like DIYs on other bikes
. Such is the addiction of Himalayan, I forgot about other motorcycles
    :) Cheers

You should put some petroleum jelly or grease on the battery terminals so that they make good contact and prolong the life of the battery. In this way we avoid the white powder that forms on the terminals due to a chemical reaction between the battery acid and the terminals.

Hey, yes, but read a study some years back that suggested not to use any thing as it can lead to corrosion, so stopped applying petroleum jelly or grease, and since then the results have been impressive, there is not white powder or corrosion of any kind. Earlier when I use to apply something, not just the copper terminal but the wires also used to corrode. So pretty skeptical now about reusing
Thanks for the tip though :)
      Cheers :)
