@@ChickenNoodleShred I just stumbled on your vid after seeing The Waitingroom, killer song. My nephew turned me on to these guys in the 2000's, always loved them. Just saying, I played bass in Diesel Machine, was in an accident and fucked everything up in 02, but still here, keep up the riffs...
@@ChickenNoodleShred no problem man, it's just the truth! i sub to your channel to stay tuned :D i hope you'll sub to mine too if you want.. greetings :D
Damn dude, I was just thinking to ask to ask if you’d do a cover of this, lo and behold! Great music choices and taste, saw All Pigs Must Die on here too. 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Awesome stuff as usual. I only have Heavy Breathing. I should definitely get their other albums. Side note: since you are into Black Breath check out Ritual Blade. Somewhat unrelated note: have you ever listened to Haapoja? I think you would dig them based on your other stuff.
Heavy Breathing is great but sentenced to life is my favorite (if that wasn’t obvious already). It’s the perfect mixture of death metal with the punk attitude. Really can’t go wrong with any of their albums tho. But I haven’t listened to either of those bands man! Definitely gonna check them out! Thanks for the recommendations
ChickenNoodleShred no problem dude. Let me know what you think. Haapoja is particularly interesting stuff. Sort of like a crust punk Ulcerate if that makes any sense.
Awesome recommendations my friend. I really enjoyed both of those a lot-definitely right up my alley. Between the two of them I heard bits and pieces of trap them, converge, high command, and ramming speed. The sort of weaving guitar lines throughout the Haapoja stuff is great. Super cool mix of sounds.
Do you like the song "Arc of Violence" on "Slaves Beyond Death"? I know that album isn't peoples' favorite but there is something about the riffs and that nasty-ass HM-2 tone you get on "Arc of Violence". I'm having trouble figuring out the song. I think the guitar might be tuned all the way down to either B standard or drop B, but I found a live video of them playing it and the lead guitarists hands don't really match with what I've been trying to figure out by ear.
I like that song and album a lot man! I really dig the more straight up death metal sound on that one. I missed the faster hardcore influence from sentenced to life at first, but I grew to appreciate it. I’m a huge black Breath fan in general so anything from them is always a possibility to be covered on this channel. That one could pop up in the future... Those songs can be tough to work out with the muddy tones but keep at it and do everything you can to develop your ear. One of the most important things to train in my opinion. I’d suggest working through some of the songs I’ve covered by ear and then referencing it with the tabs I’ve posted. It can help you learn the ins and outs of their style and knew what to listen for in more detail.
Wicked riffing, killer accuracy, two thumbs up...
Much appreciated dude!
