This is so raw and beautiful. i absolutely loved this. My love for Italy expanded even wider since I've begun watching your videos and the dream of moving here seems less impossible thanks to you. You are amazing. Full of life and passion. I found an older version of myself in you. I absolutely adore you Kylie. ♥
Oh Kylie! What an incredibly beautiful conversation between two incredible beautiful women with amazing spirits! Thank you for introducing us to Tamara and her experience as a woman of color living abroad! I sincerely enjoyed watching this and loves how this was filmed! Thank you for being you!
Hi how are you , my name is zakariyaa i m from Morocco , i want a woman for true love , i m old 25 ans . This my email zakariyaa1999@gmail.com thanks for your time .
I watch this and I completely can't believe the moment happened and I was there!!! Kylie sei straordinaria davvero!!!! Words can't express. I love how you transformed our much needed catchup girl time into a masterpiece. People, we talked for hours, like women always do and she had a huge task to edit it all into something coherent and even cinematic at times. Brava!!!!!! I really appreciate all the sweet words and positive comments...I owe it to Kylie for making me look bella.
I was trying to find out if you had any social media handles, I love connecting with other women living the dream in Italy. This was an absolute joy to watch and I just loved what you said about Italy being a self-esteem boost. Whenever I go back to Canada, it's one of the things I miss the most! Hugs to you and Kylie, find me over at www.questadolcevita.com, would love to connect!
I could literally watch this forever... I've just found your channel about ten minutes ago, and i feel as if I've found a "TH-cam Gem". Never have i ever seen content of this depth. I'd usually only read blogposts of a conversation, which is rarely entertaining. But the visuals you've added makes this so authentic! Your videos are so refreshing!
Oh the shots overlaid with the conversation was so lovely. I really enjoyed the bit of Tamara talking about the kids stopping and saying bella. So sweet.
I left Sweden five years ago to move to Milan, and I recognize so many - if not all - of the situations you're talking about. It's so comforting listening to two strong women talking about the same kind of battles I've gone thru, and still go thru every other day. It makes me feel less lonely in my decision to move. And it pushes me to keep on going. So thank you for the energy boost.
Me Heey 😁 Fellow Brit here. It's great to hear you're doing well in your new home. I've been to Milan once and I loved it. I would definitely consider moving. I'd love to know how have you found it as a young British Woman?
What beautiful conversation! I've been to Italy so many times and lived there for 6 months and so many of these points are so true like the appreciation of beauty that they say it out loud men AND women, young and old they say it "che bella" thank you so much for sharing another wonderful video! :)
Tamara is mesmerizing! 😍 Thank you so much for sharing your lovely conversation. I'm so happy I found your channel Kylie. I'll be in Italy for the first time in less than a week now and cannot wait! You capture the essence of Italy so beautifully! ❤️️
Highly interesting conversation between two fascinating, strong, intellectual and inspirational women. Love to see more of these conversations/interviews on your TH-cam channel. You are a brilliant journalist, and your video blogs are always filled with interesting, substantial Content presented in an entertaining and visually beautiful way.
Ok, it´s done. I'm going to live six months in Rome and six in Catania. And from now on, every Sunday I'll be Tamara's or Kylie's brother, or uncle, or grandpa; I'll sit there all day and share comments about la famiglia, drink some bichiere di vino rosso and make Sundays more comfortable for both of you. Maybe I'll even cook some tagliatelli, or we can go either da Gino or da Antonio as if we were a small but loving italian family. And of course I'll say "Oh, che bella...!!" every 15 minutes, in both cases. Or maybe every 5... Lovely video, as usual. You feel like you're the third person at that table. Only the espresso is missing to make it perfect.
What an inspiring video ! I absolutely loved the way you portray Italian society like the hard work it is, but at the same time you understand our longing for beauty and communication : thank you !
Great conversation between two decided women. I think the intimate way you choose to film while you was seated in front of her was spot on, Kylie, bring us right into the dialogue, brilliant choice. The family sundays talk was so funny! When was in Rome (it was December) i felt that every night was like that! Empty streets! Totally alone for many minutes during my walks hahahah! And then i look at the windows on all those pretty old buildings and there is lights on, conversations, families together! Great. ...All you can do is try. That's bingo!
Ira Carlovich thank you for always appreciating the tiniest details!!! And as always it's lovely to know you can relate to the anxiety of seeing families and groups in a foreign country and feeling like an outsider. In sharing these experiences hopefully those of us who wander streets looking in on these little scenes will realise we are less alone than we imagine. 😊
In Rome i've experienced moments of silence that i normally don't have in big cities. And the silence is a must have for me, so... People say to me why i like moments like these, places without crowd, etc... i think silence helps to perceive all those little details that surrounds us all the time and appreciate. Maybe it's a characteristic of introverts right? :) So yes... we are less alone than we imagine all the time, but we learn to love those solitarie moments, right? Stay golden, Kylie!
I think this might be my favourite conversations video! Ah I just love the light and the beautiful shots and the intelligent, passionate conversation wow just incredible
Lovely and beautifully filmed video, and engaging conversation with a really friendly atmosphere! THANK YOU! Tamara is charming, positive, and charismatic and a lovely guest for a lovely host!
I am from the south of Italy, then I moved to Rome and lived there for 10 years and now I am in Germany since 4. I dream about Rome and I run back there every time I can do it. Enjoy the best city in the world
This was a really great conversation! I too, will be uprooting my entire life here in the states to move to Italy with my husband and son. My husband is from Sardinia. That is where we will be moving. Often times, I find myself getting into the “who’s got it worse” debate with my husband’s Italian friends. True, taxes are much higher there and the poverty rate as well. But our rate of Suicide is higher, life expectancy lower and disease higher, no doubt from the stress of a face paced, money worshipping America. Truth is, humanity will struggle no matter where it resides. But I’m inspired by this video and your others on moving to Italy because it will soon be my fate in less than two months and I’m both excited and nervous!
You guys really want to make me go to Rome. Was just wondering if should take a detour with my van on my way to Spain and Portugal. Also great filming again, even the small things. Always an inspiration!
go you ll love it ,,im italian from new york,it is the most amazing country in the world ,every there are thousands of town and cities and island s to see
you need to visit rome surrounding places like the lakes Castel Gandolfo, Nemi, Bracciano, the castles area, Tivoli thermal area and imperial villa, Ostia the sea side with beach, and the appia park with catacombs and Terminillo mountains ;)
Knowing I could go watch your video after work was the only thing keeping me excited 😂😂😂.i admire you SOO much beyond words .you Kylie are the definition of dolce vita 💕💕💕
I've been following you Kylie for quite some time but this video comes just in the right moment! I'm leaving in two days with no return ticket, will spend a couple days in Rio, will try to survive the summer in Europe, then an internship in Israel for 5 months and then who knows! I've been dreaming for so long to live in Tuscany! This is my 3rd big trip and it's been hard in the past but I'm willing to do it again just before turning 30. I had to quit my job in a hotel, left my flat in Buenos Aires and moved back with my mother for some days but so far I was offered to volunteer in a winery in a hostel in Tuscany and can't wait to see how it goes. I've been told so many times that I should stop traveling and settle down but I guess I'm still trying to find my place in the world and I guess love as well! Its hard also when you carry a passport from South America, Argentina myself, but I found out that there's always a way. As for my solo traveling experience, it is true is a struggle, it can be lonely and uncertainty can be really hard to deal with but the feeling of following your dreams and be able to do it by yourself is just the best and most rewarding feeling, and following your journey is really inspiring as well, its hard and hectic but it is possible and beautiful so thank you!
Great video Kylie! The attention to detail in all the beautiful food shots is just dreamy. And the drone shots are epic. Loved watching this footage of a simple conversation between beautiful friends. Felt as if I was right there, laughing with you both, and just enjoying the simple things. Hope to move to Italy one day soon and these videos always inspire. Thank you for taking the time to shoot these videos, invite us into your world and for answering our questions! Non vedo l'ora di vedere il prossimo video, sei sempre bravissima!
I'm here in Sweden and have about 6 months left to move to Rome. I thank you Kyle and Tamara for the inspiration and experience you share. It is very helpful to hear . You live in the dream . Keep dreaming ...! I'll check all your videos . Greetings Henrik
I loved the part of your chat where you gals talked about beauty in the Italian culture and how it is different in other parts of the world. As a Canuck gal, I think we react to the same way you and your friend described her friends from America do. We may be surprised or even skeptical when guys give us that glance or compliment us. Even the idea of appreciating something beautiful. Taking that moment to stop and really take in the beauty of another object or spirit you meet. But I think we can learn to appreciate beauty the way Italians do even if we don't live in Italy... for me I find it is part of embracing the idea of la dolce vita or even la dolce far niete. The ability to slow down and really appreciate the way the light hits the water or the rich beautiful layered flavours in a good cup of coffee. I think that's what those ways of living are about.
Nice to know your friend Tamara. Good to know that you have friends there who are in a similar situation as you are there so that you can share your good and bad experiences with her about your life as an expat and find help in each other’s in times of difficulty. Probably she reads my comment, I don’t know… heh. Nice home that you have there. Flowers make it so much more homelike and charming. It fits your style. I hope your home has also balcony, it is far better to stay outside sometimes especially when hottest time in summer is starting. You don’t want to be sweating inside when it's hot. Good aerial shots. Nice looking area where you are living. Nice video again, your videos are always worth waiting for.
Please Kylie can you talk to us about visas and the technical sides of moving abroad long term. I just graduated college and I know I will be moving abroad but need to figure out how! Thank you for the constant inspiration girl. Please keep chasing your dreams
What a FIND! am currently working on manifesting my move to Italy. Am not sure where, but the call has been STRONG and I'm following my heart and my Spirit. Thank you for this! have subscribed and am looking forward to regular watching.
So funny about the "Que bella" discussion. About a month ago, I was noticing that I was saying "oh man, that's beauty" to myself at least a few times a day :-D
This was a great interview! I would like to know if Tamara has a blog or other social media account where I could learn more about life in Italy. Thank you.
Love this! It really gives you some of the whole picture of moving to another country. As you many times have said, it's no dance on roses (idk if you can say dance on roses in english.. anyways) you talk about the reality in every aspect, not just the dolce vita-aspect - if that makes sense... Well, once again- great video, I look forward to the next one of this series! x
Hi Kylie I stumbled across your videos some time ago, keep up the good work your videos are raw and very rare to find on youtube. I travel for a living and visit Italy on a monthly basis and have always wondered what it would be like to live the dream and live in Italy. Your videos inspire me to dream...... I'll be definitely spreading the word to my colleagues at work to check out your channel!
I am going to go ahead and hit the like button because your videos are the most mesmerising in all of TH-cam. So classy and you are a true artist why are you not famous. You look like a movie star. Just a breath of fresh air. Beautiful!
This is such a gorgeous video I've always wanted to explore the world and try living in multiple places and Italy has always been at the top of my list so thank you so much for making my dream seem slightly less impossible💕
This is so beautiful and inspiring! Thank you for sharing these videos. I always get excited when I see that you just posted a new video. They always show me that the life I want to live and should live is there. It's not just about hoping, but really encouraging to work on what I want everyday and crating that atmosphere right where I am. I'm also a journalist student and my plan is to travel the world and to live for a while in Italy, so when I saw your videos for the first time I was like "This is it". So Kylie, you are a true blessing :) Keep doing what you are best at! Lots of love
Ahh this was the video I was looking for of this beautiful lady. I saw it 3 years ago. I was in Italy a year ago and I loved it! I miss it so much. I traveled all over Italy, its such a beautiful special country! I will be back soon!
Your whole view of the world and your visual aesthetic and your guests are wonderful. I lived in Rome for a month, but it was only a visit. I loved Italy, but missed our crazy, chaotic USA. Keep up your excellent work!
This was so beautiful and inspirational. Thank you for another amazing video and showing a woman of color there who is willing to discuss her experience.
Kylie I really enjoyed this video!!! I love the content you make where it is an intimate conversation with a friend. I feel so inspired to go after creating a life I want after watching your youtube videos. I am so curious to learn more about love and dating in Italy. this may be more of a personal experience to share but I think it would be so interesting to hear your perspective. I am a dreamer and a romantic much like yourself and I would be interested to hear how you navigate this in your own life -- the zest/excitement as well as the heartbreak-- and how you handle it all!! Keep it up girl!
Michelle Morgan 💞💞💞 thank you will try share more of this if enough people are interested. I'm like you - I love hearing how people manage their love affairs and choices of the heart because it's something so few of us have completely worked out. It's reassuring to know others struggle with the same things!
I loved this video and the conversation within it. I admire and respect you both ❤️👌🏾 This was encouraging in helping me not too give up ok my dream to move to Italy.
You and Tamara are both so gorgeous and so real! Italy has always been my dream and I am finally working to make it a reality, thank you so much for these videos!
@@dirkdiggler6230 no she's right. It's a common micro agression. He didn't say that her voice was soothing etc, he went straight to her communication skills as if it was surprising that she was well spoken.
@Reerei Dia I sure he didnt mean it as an insult but it is, unless you understand micro aggression and the black community perhaps you should check yourself and listen. I and countless others have had this said to them and folks won't know if you dont tell them. It's about learning, listening and sharing. Be well.
@@dirkdiggler6230 I sure he didnt mean it as an insult but it is a micro aggression we have to deal with...if we dont listen and learn from each other then it will continue. Be well.
I just discovered this channel and I absolutely love the content. It was so nice to see a conversation with a women of color, we are not always represented in expat life and conversations.
This is just amazing Kylie!!!! My dream is to visit and live in Italy, im currently a medical student and honestly sometimes I feel like that dream is so far away.... I just found your channel today, and Im in love!!!!!!! You are just amazing, and you make me want to take that step. You are amazing!!!!!
hey, Kylie, I love your videos.I'm thinking of moving to Italy for a year but I'm still not sure. Would it be possible for you to maybe do a vlog of your life in Rome? Thank you for inspiring me. I love you Kylie.
Growing up in Baltimore to an Afro-American father and a Panamanian mother, in the middle of an Italian german polish neighborhood, I always felt like I would love living abroad at least once
Race vs Xenophobia is a fascinating topic for me in italy. I want to know more about her experiences and life as an entrepreneur/expat in Italy. This is the dream 💗✨ Have you watched Tia Taylor? She has a few videos about being a woman of color in milan. Also she speaks about economy etc.
First video of yours i have watched, and i instantly subscribed! So inspiring and beautifully edited. i plan to move to Paris but this video has really made me consider Italy.
Il video è FANTASTICO, ma per tutto il tempo ho immaginato la voce di mia mamma urlare "noooo! la caffettiera sul legno! almeno una presina sotto! D: "
Beautiful beautiful conversation. I think this is now my favourite Kylie video. ❤️. I am not sure if I missed it, but I'd love to know what type of business Tamara started that allowed her to stay in Italy past the allowed 3 months we North Americans are typically allowed.
Is that a Lumix DMC - GH4 with a Canon 85mm f/1.2 USM EF?? Also very curious. about the. might. set up and second camera set up - this video is so well done. It really captures the warmth of the friendship/ personalities and the warmth of Italy. I want to start my. own craft and would love to know some more tech and techniques to explore.
Thank you for discussing diversity in Italy. That was a question I was planning to ask you about. I’ve always wanted to spend at least three months there since I did a hiking trip several years ago.
Thank you for another beautifully informative conversation vlog. It answered questions and concerns I've had as a "melanin rich" woman and dreamer. Does Tamara have a blog or TH-cam outlet?
Hey kylie i love your videos so much they are very inspiring. I've been thinking on moving to Italy from America. I know its going to be a while before i do it , like you said give it a year or so but i was wondering what are the steps to move to Italy such as getting a residency and the average cost for live there(food, rent, transportation etc.). Anyways love you!
Loved this cute, honest and deep girl chat :) ❤ Beautiful as always, Kylie! Hope to meet you one day, once I've made my dreams a reality! :D Thanks for your effortless inspiration.
This is so raw and beautiful. i absolutely loved this. My love for Italy expanded even wider since I've begun watching your videos and the dream of moving here seems less impossible thanks to you. Fellow Brit here.
It's great to hear you're doing well in your new home.
I've been to Milan once and I loved it. I would definitely consider moving. I'd love to know how have you found it as a young British Woman?

So funny about the "Que bella" discussion. About a month ago, I was noticing that I was saying "oh man, that's beauty" to myself at least a few times a day
:-D
che bella
I think this one is my the most fav one. Beautiful!
Your videos are truly inspiring!!!!! I wait for them every week with excitement...
This was such a refreshing conversation Kylie! How can we learn more about Tamara’s business? Xx
This was a great interview! I would like to know if Tamara has a blog or other social media account where I could learn more about life in Italy. Thank you.
Once again, tremendous. You both talked about the bustle of the market, would have been great to see it. Rome looks spectacular, hope to see it soon.
PAUSE. Your shooting style is gorgeous! Tamara also has a gorgeous apartment - thank you for capturing it so beautifully!
go to italy, italian men will propose ,
Love this! It really gives you some of the whole picture of moving to another country. As you many times have said, it's no dance on roses (idk if you can say dance on roses in english.. anyways) you talk about the reality in every aspect, not just the dolce vita-aspect - if that makes sense... Well, once again- great video, I look forward to the next one of this series! x
Julia Vikstrom thank you, beautiful 💃🏼🌹🌹🌹
What a lovely conversation- where can we find/ follow Tamara? You both have such a spark to go after your dream. 👍🏻
Such a beautiful, well edited video. Thanks for doing it; very engaging and informative. Thank you.
Amazingly beautiful and talented work, thank you!
Black is Beautiful ........ Beauty Matters . Love Alone Prevails Tamara ROCKS .
Kylie this has inspired me SOOO much to go visit Italy!! I am SO excited by their Romantic appreciation of 'Bella'!!! xoxo thank you for sharing!
Iva Juricevic aaaaaaahh! 😄😄😄 Thank you so much! So kind!!
Ahh this was the video I was looking for of this beautiful lady. I saw it 3 years ago. I was in Italy a year ago and I loved it! I miss it so much. I traveled all over Italy, its such a beautiful special country! I will be back soon!
She is damm in love with Rome💯%😉
Your whole view of the world and your visual aesthetic and your guests are wonderful. I lived in Rome for a month, but it was only a visit. I loved Italy, but missed our crazy, chaotic USA. Keep up your excellent work!
This was so beautiful and inspirational. Thank you for another amazing video and showing a woman of color there who is willing to discuss her experience.
The videos are the best. They are like a movie
I admire and respect you both ❤️👌🏾
This was encouraging in helping me not too give up ok my dream to move to Italy.
You and Tamara are both so gorgeous and so real! Italy has always been my dream and I am finally working to make it a reality, thank you so much for these videos!
I love these converations.
Your friend is a star . She speaks and communicates so well ......:-) your still great too lol !!!
Ian_G perhaps you mean no harm but please do not say this to a black person. It's kinda racist. We are perfectly capable of expressing ourselves
Be well.
I really enjoy all your videos, and this one... I love it !
Thank you Kylie for sharing so much great content !
I just discovered this channel and I absolutely love the content.
It was so nice to see a conversation with a women of color, we are not always represented in expat life and conversations.
I wanna move to Italy and meet the love of my life 😢
I throughly enjoyed this interview,
I found myself actually giggling along with you both,
so heartwarming so thank you xx
Levi-Daisy
I love these conversations!
“They are ALWAYS in the business!” 😂❤️
hey, Kylie, I love your videos.I'm thinking of moving to Italy for a year but I'm still not sure.
Rightfully we are concerned about this topic. We want to keep Italy European, not a melting pot from extraeuropean realities
I love this video. My dream is to move to Italy. You both inspire me.
Beautiful beautiful conversation. I think this is now my favourite Kylie video. ❤️. I am not sure if I missed it, but I'd love to know what type of business Tamara started that allowed her to stay in Italy past the allowed 3 months we North Americans are typically allowed.
Yes that would be interesting to know !
Jen Shea yes!!! That's what I was thinking too! I would love to know more.
This is so inspirational! But phenomenal for black women 🥺💗
Once again a beautiful video! Thank you so much😊
Thank you for discussing diversity in Italy. That was a question I was planning to ask you about. I’ve always wanted to spend at least three months there since I did a hiking trip several years ago.
Would love watching one of these conversations of you and a guest talking in Italian 🙏
Thank you for another beautifully informative conversation vlog. It answered questions and concerns I've had as a "melanin rich" woman and dreamer. Does Tamara have a blog or TH-cam outlet?
OMG I wanna move to Italy to !!!!! Ah no aspetta, ci abito già 😂😂😂😂
I love your visuals and edits!
12.27 I would love this image as my photo wallpaper
this video was so beautiful and inspiring
Hey Kylie! I love your videos!! One question, what visa do you have to stay in Italy?
Wow looks like you truly enjoyed everything about the city..even italian romance
Naughty naughty Kylie. Your stove looks filthy :-D. Those things can get dirty so quickly. Wonderful, amazing, awesome video. I loved it.
omg both are extremly beautiful!
Kylie, I am in love with your outfits! In every video you are wearing amazing clothes. Do you buy them all in Italy?
I absolutely love and enjoy all your videos. Love your beautiful heart. Two beautiful strong ladies .
Loved this cute, honest and deep girl chat :) ❤ Beautiful as always, Kylie!
Hope to meet you one day, once I've made my dreams a reality! :D Thanks for your effortless inspiration.
