    Yasssss love the comparison. I personally use okra gel. I did it at the time because I had it here already because I cook with it often. I felt the same way as you did about the slip from okra. So I ended up mixing the two gels together and freezing in my rose bud ice trays. Only difference in my recipe is I add my diy oil and hibiscus and rose petals when making it

    I love the beautiful shine from the flaxseed I’ve tried flaxseed but not okra. I have to try okra to make my hair softer 🤎🤎

    Thank Youuu, I needed a video like this. I know you don't do wash n gos but could you please🙏 compare them on a SMALL section to see which one defines and holds your hair better.

    I think i'll try okra gel for my rope twists. I'm growing my hair its just like yours and I was wondering if you used combs freely and still retained length or did you mainly finger detangle?

      When I first went natural I used to finger detangle mostly. Eventually when my hair got longer I would interchange between fingers and combs. Now I sometimes challenge myself for a period of time to just us my fingers. Finger detangling is definitely the better option, it is just so time consuming at this point....

    Thanks for sharing. Do you apply oil to your scalp generally?

    Hi Yaa, How do you prepare the okra

    • @ObaaYaaJones
      @ObaaYaaJones  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      For this video I cooked it. Usually after cutting it and adding water, I let it sit for a day or so, for it to develop enough "slime"
