    Excellent video and brilliant information. Natural is always best and your homemade flaxseed gel has no chemicals and will enrich your daughter’s hair. I’ve used homemade flaxseed gel in the past but not as a pre-poo. I’m going to definitely try your detangling recipe. Thank You! 🙏🏽

    Yes. Because I want to try the African Pride Detailer but I just got some flaxseed. So let me see the results and decide.

    Yep. The first thing I thought when I tried the AP Prepoo was how much it reminds me of my homemade Flaxseed gel that I’ve been making for years. Their prepoo is great but I hate how it flakes. I love that I can leave the flax in my hair.

    I gotta find am african hairdresser again. I am white but my hair is really curly and they are the only ones not ripping half my hair out and not making disastrous decisions on hairproducts. 😅 (also i was never inappropriately touched (without asking) in my hair by any POC, just white people. -.-)

    I have relaxed hair and I tried the flaxseed gel yesterday but surprisingly my hair was hard. don't know if I did anything wrong.
    I didn't add any oil tho

    • @RarePearlsFamily
      @RarePearlsFamily  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nana, I’m not sure why this occurred. Kindly add a bit of your preferred oil to see if there is a change. I will also look more into this, thanks 😊

      Hi nana. What you describe is what happened to my natural hair. This occurs when the consistency of the gel is too thick. After application and drying, the hair became crunchy and thick. Try to make the gel to a consistency that works for your hair.
