I felt really sad watching the video, all their personal stuff being looked through...i wonder what happened and how the place was suddenly abandoned...no relatives or anything to clear their stuff for them?...
I had seen this place before the field down the bottom got more junk and the field is full of 70s 80s &90s cars and vans and some classic fords really a shame you didn't get there to see them as you got caught by the bloke
Hi guys, those old fishing rods and reels were for sea fishing. Those things you found in the box at 22:02 I believe were old paint tubes, you were right Alex. So funny they had everything everywhere but the tops of the wardrobes nice and clear lol. Technically if he tells you to leave you can go back another day but if he says leave and don't come back then you can't go back again. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🥰
Oh god my mind is going crazy thinking about how much stuff is on that property. There would be absolutley that much more again under all the leaves and debris!
Loved watching this. Saw lots of things that my late mother and grandmother used to have in the house you explored. Reminded me of my Mum's too, as her house was full of stuff. It took me three years to clear it. A shame you couldn't get into some of the other areas, but it was great to see what you did manage. What happened to your other two friends who were with you? Were they still left in the house or did they make off in a different direction? Hope they got out safely.
The man and woman ornament was to tell what the weather was going to be like, if the man was out it meant rain and the lady out the weather was sunny.Nice memories i used to get the Bunty comic as a youngster 😊.
Love your adventures in Wonderland, you bring us bits of the past, for us to think about, and think about our left behind stuff. Thanks, Alex, Ned, Ed, and Steve, great explore, wish it was much longer.
Fun, Fun, Fun, guys, Its really to bad you leave so soon. That person sounded kind of upset. Thank you again for showing us this place. It was so interesting. Lots of stuff in there. See you next week.
Once again a fantastic explore I remember bunty comics from my childhood and I'm 67 now so it's way back. I remember the players no6 cards also. Took me back in time. Thank you ❤
Alex, you are very protective of Ed....making sure he's ok, telling him to watch out, etc. (and quick to throw him under the bus LOL) How is it you know each other?
Quality find guys. That Ivax stuff, it was a pharma company that was taken over years ago, you would have had to read the label. The other stuff your mate said was cyanide, is phenyl nitrate. It used to be used for antiseptic cleaning and had antifungal properties, but it was toxic (not as toxic as cyanide though lol). I'm guessing whoever last used that bedroom, they werent very well in their old age. That cottage was amazing, I would love to set up a big shed next to it, clear all the old stuff out into it and restore the house. Years of firewood and rubbish to keep anyone warm, so would be worth getting a log burner fitted, although it looked like there was an old wood or coal burning stove in the end cupboard? Also the rock formations and shelters? I'm thinking that place has been a quarry at some point long ago. Anyway loved it, tx for making the vid. :)
There was also some amyl nitrate, which was used for chest pain before the advent of nitroglycerin we use today. amyl nitrate is still around today, but known at least in the US as poppers. I am not sure what the street name is in the UK or Europe.
I never comment on videos, but I have to say that you guys are my favorite and I look forward to your Sunday Premiere’s. Thanks for putting out great content.
Another extraordinary explore Guy's.. It leaves you wondering about the circumstances that prevailed which bought about the place being abandoned, but yet people around saying "you shouldn't be here" ? Makes you wonder if there's a small group living in there 'off grid' ! The small box that Pompeye thought might be ammunition looked to me like tin tubes of artists oil paint.
I really enjoy your videos. You guys dive deep and show a lot of bits and bobs which are very interesting and tells some of the old owners stories. -love from Wisconsin USA ❤
Whats great about this channel no other really does, is go through the antiques pull them out see the condition the age brings back memories ,great channel VacantHaven.
Loved the Video lots of bits and bobs, Loved Neds Green Helmet, Most Photos back in the day were made into postcards so people could put in the post, surprised Ed didn't know that my Gran did the same, Great explore very entertaining Thanks to Alex,Ned,Ed,Steve,
Fascinating explore! Amazing to find so much in that house and the property as well! So much could be put in a museum. Will likely be forever lost. So sad. Does make me want to start my spring cleaning! Glad you all stayed safe and didn’t venture toward the well. The rock formations were really interesting. Cheers!
this is approx what MY house looks like! they have killed the neighbors and after dismembering buried in the yard. Did you ever wonder why all of the addresses south of you have bars on the windows and walls around the property? MI6 could use their facial recognition to identify people in background pics and resolve this! I'm in the US. Keep up the good work, its vital to understanding what exactly is happening here!
My Nan lived in the UK and would send me Beano, Dandy and Warlord to the US. Never had a Bunty though! Great explore, in the US we call people with houses like that “hoarders”!
Being off work sick does have its bonuses I get to binge and catch up all your vids ! .. I'm only a few minutes in and chuckling away at eddy and neddy hahaha 😂 brilliant stuff lads never stop
Wot a find guys someone was a hoarder I do not no how people can live like that any way guys love watching you everywhere you make my weekends great see you next week with another one we'll done ❤r 😊
I don't think they lived in this house, although it was probably lived in at one time. It was a business. A junkyard. Old fashioned junkyards were often like that. Machinery & vehicles outside & household stuff to rummage through inside. Sometimes inside would be a barn, sometimes sheds, sometimes an old house. Presumably they sold some things now & then.
Those are not bed-pans. They are chamber-pots which are totally different. Bed-pans are specially shaped to slide beneath the bottom of a bed-bound patient.
Someone needs to buy the place and go thru and see what can be salvaged and sold, the rest trashed and all family items kept put in a box and given to the family.😊👍
Another great video that leaves more questions than answers. One you can help with though is, what happened to the other guys that were in the house with you?
As always a great explore boys! Im from Philly so me seeing that artwork from historical Philly places was cool to see! You are right Paddys should have been on there! LOL
There is a place in Cumbria like that the locals reported it to the council, the home owner lived in the run down house & had sheep. He was given 6 months to clean it up or the council would take him to court. The home owner never cleaned it up. If you go on the train from Carlisle- Newcastle you can see it.
Another amazing explore Alex ❤ love you guys. Technically he said "you shouldn't be here" so never actually asked you too leave so maybe another cheeky visit 😉
@@VacantHaven you found the king of the pack rats castle there. very interesting rock/block wall formation hiding a cave entrance ? @ 46:44 watching from alabama
This was absolutely fantastic. So much history. What happened to the rest of your mates? Did they leave before you did? Absolutely brilliant thank you 🤟🏻😎🇺🇸
It's an old word prosessor from the late 1980s/1990s not a typwritter mate, I can remember when I was 15 in 1988 my mum had one when she used to work in crown court she used to write all the documents for the courts n solicitors on it after she got out of crown court. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻❤️❤️✌🏻......... Rest in peace mum ❤️❤️❤️✌🏻❤️❤️❤️
Another great explore. The mind boggles at the stuff in that house! I remember Bunty comics and the teacards that were by Brooke Bond tea. I still have some of my collection from way back. Not a lot of money in them though, but they are fun and were a good education sideline for kids. in the 60's. Your videos are always fab, but I do have concern about you all breathing in those mouldy spores. Be careful you guys. Masks and gloves might be in order to protect you when going into such places. Thanks as always for the entertainment and taking us 'back in time.' (For us oldies , that is!)
Yeah i used to love reading Bunty comics.. those ones look pristine...amazing. Id love those Courage pub beer trays too. The Courage brewery used to be by the m4 in reading.

The boy prince as you call him is named Blue boy and he was painted by Thomas Gainsborough. And the round picture viewer is called a view master.

I think you guys are great! But I have to say Ed is the star ! Another interesting explore and so much stuff! Thank you so much 👍😁
The picture of the boy you said was a prince is a copy of Blue Boy by Gainsborough.
Looks like a settled pikey camp, definitely Irish catholic leaning. There are places like that abandoned all over Ireland!
