The washing machine you found we used to use in the 60s. The hose filled it with water from a normal sink tap, it had a control on the side to start the agitation then the rubber cap on the top revealed a drive for the mangle to get the water out of the clothes. You turned the control the other way to stop the agitation and start the mangle if I remember correctly.
Well done to you both for going up Ed doesn't look old enough to be coming up to the big 60 happy birthday Ed when it comes love Watching the program keep up the good work 👏 😊
I have an idea for you guys: Would you be able to scan for foreclosures and work with property agents/banks to clean up or document any hazards you find in exchange for access on a given day? This way it wouldn't be trespassing and you could take as much time as you want. Granted, I'm an American and I don't know if this would work in UK, but something to look into?
@@VacantHaven, #Ed, I just have to say, we are the same age and I can with out a doubt tell you, that you are in fantastic shape. You're almost running circles around your mates! I love to watch the explores however on this channel you're the one I enjoy watching. You're on go, way ahead of the others! Lol! Keep up the.... Leader of the pack! Never stop moving, bc I've learned the hard way, if you slow down, it's terribly painful! ❤️🇺🇸❤️ 💙🇬🇧❤️
Hello again! Wow, talk about a hard nut to crack! This house sure wasn't going to give up its secrets easily. Edd did a great job of risking life and limb trying to get into the place. Good job for a 60 year old gent! Thanks so much for the explore! The gardens were almost more interesting than the house! Glad you all made it out safely. You had me worried a couple of times, though. Looking forward to watching another video. Maybe a binge is in order when I don't have to get up the next day. Take care of each other and I'll see you again!
i just had to say something as a U.S. watcher you guys personally are the best at viewing and documenting these abandoned places in the most realistic and beautiful way. most just fake the entry and the exit and everything in between you guys actually spend the time to show how you got into the scenarios and what youre finding. you guys also inspect everything including documents where as most just oh look stairs a door yada yad. you guys go everywhere. much love from the U.S. and keep it up please i have been hooked for weeks now everyday. thanks guys.
Hats off to you Ed, I am 60 next year and my hips seize up just riding my motorbike, hate to think what it would be like climbing through the windows and up through the loft.
My mate fixes those old singer machines up she's got 14 at moment the original black and gold ones ' there so Dam heavy lol but worth a lot! She buys Brocken ones online and then fixes them back to new condition . That woodland area is beautiful specially the Trees 🤗
Thank you, Alex, Ned, and Happy Birthday Eddy! It always seems the brickwork on the outside is better than what's on the inside. Safe travels. See ya in a week.
Great explore Pompey made that climbing look like a 20old year old done it credit to him for a 60 year old Alex and Ed make it look easy enjoy your Sunday videos they are brilliant keep up the great explores they are really enjoyable cheers👍👍👍👍
Great video. Love the old washing machine. It probably does still work! Quality built appliances. It’s the transition machine 1960’s to the automatics we have today
😳 I take it none of you are claustrophobic 😂. Yikes! Crawling from one attic through the tiny opening to the next part? I think I forgot to breathe. Excellent explore. Beautiful place wasn’t it. Isn’t it sad that no one owns it and saves it as it’s gorgeous. ♥️🇨🇦
Seeing these beautiful buildings in teh UK just rotting and then being demolished is so heartbreaking! Here in teh USA, there are several efforts to keep our old buildings, via Heritage Societies. Not always successful. I’m glad that several old brick factories and schools in the US are being converted into condominiums. It’s so heartbreaking to see history torn down. Better to be repurposed. Especially in the UK as you have such old and beautiful architecture. Thank you for yet another lovely explore!
I remember my nan having the old washer. And the dairy diary was a coop dairies product. I had loads of these in the 80s. Even the old hoover was a blast from the past. Great explore. Enjoyed this very much x
Loved it. My sister had Japanese knot weed on her property, paid £20,000 to get rid of it before she could sell it. There were some nice bits there could be polished
Great explore with interesting entrances to each property lol. My mum had a toploader washing machine just like that when i was a kid, used to love watching the agitator whoosh the clothes round, great memory. Good on Ed with all his climbing and happy birthday Ed. Good to see you and Ned Alex doing your climbing feats xxx
Good video boys 👊🏻 The old man will be sore tomorrow. I’m 10 years younger and didn’t fancy that crazy loft egress / ingress. It looks like that place was probably abandoned in the 70s when the property taxes on bigger houses lead lots of them to be sold / abandoned. With a ton of work that place could be a lovely 20s revival house. But if it’s worth 2m you would have to spend another 2m to make it pop again. Btw that small small tv is from the early very late 70s . My old gran had one when I was a wee boy. I remember being amazed how small it was. They were serious money at 1st.
Another fascinating property caught in time, this was such a beautifully designed house and lodge, would have loved to have seen it in its prime. Pompeye on full form, just goes to show age means nothing. Have a great birthday Pompeye 😊🎉.
Wow what a place, lost in time...Thanks for finding it and sharing with us. What can I say but Go Edd.. 😂. Show them how it's done 😅. Pass on birthday wishes please Alex. 🎉
Hi Alex I know of somewhere that is abandoned. It is the old milk factory in Taddiport( love that name) in Torrington Devon. It's been abandoned for years. It was once a very busy milk factory. The place is huge so thought you might be interested.
Great find guys. Those old wall heaters were really ugly. It must have been quite a nice property when it was originally built. Substantial amount of land as well.
Don't know what those tablets you started taking are Ed but keep taking them, as they've taken 20 years off you in a week 😄 How come Ned always disappears half way through the explores, then just appears 5 mins before the end ?? Ed turns into spiderman and Ned the invisible man 😄 Cheers guys, look forward to next week's adventure 🙌💚👍
Just what we all enjoy exciting and dangerous. Alex i just sent you a little something via Amazon Estimated delivery: 19 July 2023 - 20 July 2023. I hope it's useful and fun Thank you for for another fun video ,you three are great together.💖💖💖
Hi Daphne, I've just read this message, sorry! Just had some bits delivered now, Edd and me thank you muchly! It will make our loft adventures much easier!! Very very kind of you, I hope you're well 😁👍👍
@@VacantHaven enjoy and have fun, that will make me happy ! 💖💖 I'm OK but got bad news this morning😢 Life goes on and we weather the storms in our little sailing boats. ⛵ ⛵
Edd cracks me up god love him lol 😂 he like come on boys you turn around the corner he’s half wYs in the window lmfao He loves its as we all do but his ways are exciting as I would get Thanks guys again this was fun ❤
Singer sewing machines were so well made they last years. That’s why most houses you’ve explored , you’ve found singers . Sadly due to the amount that are still around and working , their not worth any money £20 if your lucky
Had to leave a comment after EDs spider man acrobatics this week Happy Birthday Eddy :) Alex are you Monkey man ? Amazing explore . Love you all doing time capsules miss your bunkers though . Was nice to see Ned to . Thanks for brightening up my Sundays . feeling you are becoming the masters of million mansions to ! Xx
Spot on video Ed you're a dammed sight fitter than i am and im not 60 till the end of the year i couldn't even walk to get to these places. So keep them coming because once you stop its very hard to get going again. 😢
117th! Edd makes me laugh! HAPPY 60th! Mate! I’m 67, and I watch you climb all over things. Latex paint peels like that. I call them TAFT webs, because Bill Taft was such a Cobb! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
I find myself giving rooms 10 out 10s or whatever it is. When I'm watching any video now. You passed on your habit lol watching your videos is like watching The Block , Australian audition..
Really enjoy your visits to the old houses especially this old 60s one but wear good dust masks as most old places have asbestos dust and flakey lead paint all behind airborne by your presence! Take care lads
When i first found you all i kept seeing was eddies big head, always had to be in front. As ive watched a few of your vids that bloke is mint 😊. As for the mouse joke OMG that was so unexpected, brilliantly executed and made me laff for ages 😂. I do enjoy watching them ( 59 year old nanna ) wish i could do one but i wouldn't be fast enough running 😂😂😂
What the hell do they put in your water over there? Here in America no man of 60 would ever be that spry! My god the man bent like GUMBY getting out of that window.. Love ya Ed, and those boots you’re wearing kick ass.
I enjoy you guys, I can’t stop laughing. Question? Why does it sound like y'all are close to a highway? I have noticed that in some of the videos, but y'all come up through the back. When do Ed and Ned come into the exploring? This is the perfect trio! You guys are going to explode, I love how y'all look out and goof on each other, I am Hooked!!!!

Ed, I’m going to be 60 in August too. There is no way I could climb like you. You’re still pretty agile. Happy birthday 🎉
There's just something attractive about watching Ed climbing through small open spaces 😉

Can't believe these old places with the old 60s & 70s decor etc still exist. They really are time capsules. Great 👍 video as usual!

The fixtures and fittings scream 60's to me. Very reminiscent of my grandparents furniture/cupboards, etc.
