+Jay Tripletwister Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I actually live in another part of Thailand, Krabi. I was just in Phuket for a short holiday. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Krabi is another nice place in Thailand. I was so impressed with the emerald pool ,the natural rock climbing spots in Railay and kho Hong. Really hope to go back one day.
Hey mate, awesome video as usual. Keep it up. Good to see that you mix up the videos a bit and add some variety. Although my favourite are the Market videos :D
another great and informative video Dazza. What has always fascinated me is how they get the soups and curries into bags so neatly then tied with elastic.I always struggle to undo the bloody things.keep em coming mate.
+Gamel Saleh Thanks a lot. Yes they are pretty good at that, but the bags can be a little difficult to get open sometimes. I cut the rubber band with a knife if I can't get into it any other way.
+Del * Thanks! Yes, it's been a bit wet down this way recently. It depends on the day though. Some days it's nice, but some days there's been quite a bit of of rain.
+G.THE. BILLIONAIRE If you do a Google search for: Market Talat Nuea, Sam Kong Rd, Mueang Phuket, Phuket Thailand you'll find the location of the market on Google Maps. It's open from about 3pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I hope that helps.
Very good food nice place for food and lots of nice food many difference kinds of foods and healthy food thank you for sharing very good. Love all of the cook or un cook love to eat.the yellow one is feed in corn other feed on any food .
I really love your vids, particularly the education on the product. I'd like to ask, are the merchants as gregarious as they appear while you film? also, is there any bartering over prices? (I know the prices are totally reasonable) also, (I know I'm being a pest) can you expound on how they handle any crime in the market, and how they manage the trash? thank you, these are unusual questions, but interesting for me. Chris
+Michigan Mister Yes, the merchants are pretty gregarious. Thai people in general are very friendly and extremely sociable. No, there isn't any real bartering over prices. Generally all the vendors selling similar goods have similar prices. Perhaps if you were buying in bulk you may get a discount. Generally it's the same vendors week in week out at these markets so they look out for each other, so crime would be pretty minimal I think, if it even exists. Thais are also extremely observant. There are usually police officers directing traffic outside markets like so I'm sure if anyone was seen stealing they'd be dealt with pretty quickly. There are areas where rubbish is placed and generally the garbage collectors would collect the waste either that night or the next morning. I hope that helps.
Hi Darren. Can you tell me what month of the year would be the right month to come to Thailand to enjoy most of varieties tropical fruits ? Thanks in advance for info. 👍👍😘😘🇺🇸🇺🇸👌👌
The exact season for different fruits seem to change from year to year depending on the weather, but the greatest variety seems to be around early July most years 👍🏽👍🏽
+Biggy Smalls I don't know anyone who has gotten food poisoning from eating food from the markets. I eat food like this regularly, as do most of the people I know who live here, both locals and expats, and I don't know of anyone who has got food poisoning from it. I know 2 people who have got food poisoning while visiting SE Asia (one in Thailand & 1 in Malaysia) and they both got it after eating at hotel restaurants. If you do get food poisoning get to a pharmacist ASAP because if you let it linger it's likely to ruin a big chunk of your holiday. My other tip would be try the street food & market food. It's some of the tastiest food around. I hope that helps.
Cool market. I always thought that the chicken skin was yellow because it was a different breed of chicken. maybe I have been wrong. Not really a whole lot that i wouldn't try in there and like always im hungry after watching haha. thanks for sharing
+Skidder Kev I was told recently the yellow skin is because of the process they use to pluck the chickens. Yes, there were a lot of tasty items at this market! Thanks for watching and commenting!
