At the price and the warranty PSA has its a great deal. People complaining about stippling and the triggers in a $300-$400 gun need to stop whining and spend double on a Sig or another brand. It’s a very good affordable and concealable gun. Some people assume because of the prices PSA offers their quality isn’t there but I have yet to have any real issues with any of their products.
It is hit or miss with PSA. The reason for that is their quality control measures lacking. You could get one firearm that is in spec and another that is out of spec. This is pretty well documented with regards to them. Some companies test everything, some do batch tests, while others may not test at all, and everything in between. I have personally seen several of their AR and AK platforms be out of spec. Most people would not know how to properly spec out a firearm to see if their firearm is actually built to spec through and through. With all of that said, I am not bashing them. They are the kings of the budget firearm world. There is something to be said for what they offer and the prices you get it at. For those who are on a budget, they have no choice but to take the risk.

Brother, that was an excellent comparative assessment between the PSA Dagger Micro Comp and the Shadow Systems DR 920 P. After your review, I find the Dagger model very attractive. Appreciated! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The micro dagger is one of the best carry guns I’ve ever owned. With a red dot, holster, 3 dot night sights, 2 shield mags, the shield mags release, and a front sight tool I spent $705 with taxes, transfer/background check, shipping and handling. I bought the complete upper with free shipping then bought a blemished lower also free shipping. Everything else I bought from Optics planet and Amazon.
What i will say about the 3 dot iron sights is i have very bad vision, i wear glasses, having the 3 dots actually makes it easier and faster FOR ME to point and shoot. Now im not gonna be sitting there lining them up for 30 seconds but having that reference of the other dots in my peripheral vision makes me more confident in my shot compared to when i use blacked out rear sights. I see no disadvantage to the 3 dot sights so i say its a good addition if you’re not running the optic already.
Did you switch any internals to glock oem parts? Just got me a c1 micro dagger and i seen everyone saying to switch it out the only oem parts i got for it are the barrel and spring but only because i ordered the slide that came without it by mistake
Have a cr920 war poet and got tired of the small grip so I got a SCTSC43 frame since PSA never has the micro frame in stock. Threw my cr920 slide on it and now it’s perfect. Only thing that would make it better is a comp. I’d probably pick up the c1 slide to round it out. Sucks I spent like $900 all together. Just buy a micro dagger and czz as lol it a day. Great video!
You deserve way more subs. Excellent quality content and right up there with the best guntubers. I gave up my cr920p for a xmacro due to the size of the frame being too small on the cr. I like a full grip but that cr shot better than the xmacro
Great review. Uplula loader is a must on range day lol. Got lucky and purchased a talon sei ts 43x by danger close armament for a steal. Excellent pistol but once i purchased psa c-1 slide it turned into a beast. This 43x macro combo and my sheild plus are my favorite slim compacts in my rotation
Locally I can find the Canik Mete MC9 for $339. Given PSA’s track record of sometimes iffy quality control I’d have to go with the MC9. The PSA is probably good enough and I hope they sell piles of them. More guns in the market are better than less IMHO. Ridiculously underrated channel. Keep the awesome content coming.
The Mete MC9 is a fantastic pistol. Can’t say it shoots as nicely or soft as the Dagger Micro but I agree with you on the QC stuff. Thanks for your support! We got a lot of awesome content in the works! 💪
PSA has come along way from their beginnings, they don’t have the same QC issues they did 10 years ago, things change, stop relying on an opinion you had years ago.
I agree with your assessment on PSA being more bang for your buck at its price range. Unfortunately for Shadow Systems, I feel like recently in the last 2 years with the CR920 line there really hasn’t been a good quality control either from original barrel design to having reliability issues past 200 round break in - especially their 1st gen line up. If both guns worked flawlessly, SS would be my choice, but even my MR920 Warpoet, I just recently sent it in to get it fixed for my firing pin being bent and prematurely worn down causing light strikes along with an already existing slide removal issues since i purchased it back in 2021. Im from Texas and want to support the company because of that, but i just feel like their quality control is not consistent with 800-$1000 priced guns. I recommended my friend a SS MR920 before my own experiences which he purchased an MR920L and his trigger broke at 150rds in and they had to mail in a new one for replacement. i will admit their customer service on their part has been great, but honestly the gun needs to run reliably right off the bat and have higher quality production with how small of a company they are.
Agree. Any gun you trust your life to should not require a certain type of ammo to run properly. Is their junk ammo? Yes, sure. But if they say the gun needs 500 rounds of NATO spec 124 grain ammo before it runs right. The quality control and/or design of the gun sucks. Had a guy at my range all upset (and rightly so) that his expensive Kimber wouldn’t work even after the 500 round break in. Later he came down after firing some expensive JHP ammo smiling saying the gun worked. It just needed that ammo. $1.25 per round ammo to work! It’s not the gun, but the ammo? Please! My Dagger has shot everything. My $400.00 out the door Canik Elite SC has shot everything. All except for a GEN 4 G19 Glock has shot everything. A gun should work out of the box. Especially a +/- $1000.00 gun. End of story.
I carry the CR920P and it's pretty solid. That being said, it's not perfect. I had a bunch of issues with it when I initially got it and eventually had to purchase a G43x recoil spring for it to run. Even then, it will only cycle hotter ammo after over 1000 rounds through the gun. Definitely a love/hate relationship with it.
Thanks for your input on the Micro Dagger C1. I’m looking to get a few firearms from PSA-and a Micro Dagger C1 is one of them. I recently bought a Sig P365-XL Comp Rose. I know the gun was targeting the ladies, but I don’t give a damn-the firearm looks cool as heck, and I loved the design of it. I just subscribed to your channel. 🇺🇸
I ordered that same PSA Micro Dagger C-1 yesterday. Trigger will be replaced and Holosun will be on top, I'm a Certified Glock Armorer so it will be a breeze. I'm hoping it gets to my FFL soon.😊
I had the same issue with my front sight being crooked on my Micro Dagger. It's easy to fix but I did report it to PSA because I had to call them because the Holosun optic they sent with the gun would randomly shut off. They sent a call tag for it, I returned it, and they sent a new one but in the mean time I bought an EPS carry. I put the 407k on my wifes postol.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Yes but I would have preferred that they sent a new optic along with a call tag for the defective one. That way I wouldn't have been without an optic, but I guess I can't complain. My wife wasn't too happy when she found out I spent more on the optic (EPS Carry) then the pistol cost without the optic. LOL
I personally don't care about magazine amount if they're Glock style simply because they're cheap anyway.. If they were $60? That's a problem. 3 dot sights to 1 dot is just preference. Trigger can make or break (trigger snobs unite).. What's impressive is youre conparing a $350-$400 PSA to a Shadow Systems which is almost double the price. And the PSA holds up to it..
I have three daggers and a micro dagger slide that I’ve paired with my G43. All nice guns with zero issues (and I do like the grip textures). However with the CZ P10 C/S prices the way they are right now you can’t beat them for price/performance at $360.
I’m not a fan of the G43 single stack 9mm. I carry a G27 .40 with a spare g23 , 13 round mag. I’ve had issue’s with my G43 not firing at the range. It was striking the round center, leaving a light imprint. Could have been the Winchester ammo. I just don’t trust it for EDC.
@@HuntFishShootChannel mine would have stove pipes and failure to eject. With Armscor, Winchester, mag tech and some other Cheaper ammo. Would run great with +P ammo though. I just seen the TH-camr 3 of 7 Project had the same experience also as mine in his video.
@danielplatt6875 we used 124 grain Norma for the CR920P review and this one. Some comped guns are and can be ammo picky, as in they like higher grain and higher quality ammo.
I own a CR920P. It's best to do break in with high quality 124 grain. It didn't like 115 my first day at the range. It happily takes everything once you break it in. Just stay away from ammo not meant for comped guns (i.e. Blazer).
You remain my favorite gun reviewer on you tube. BTW, your review got me to buy the Sig p320 AXG legion. Still loving it. I recently picked up a Springfield EMP Ronin 3" on a great deal: the reason being is that so many people have cautioned me about my carry gun having a comp (muzzle flash on that first shot if its night time, etc) So I decided to get a 1911 style sub compact b/c when compared to any sub compact/micro 9 polymer striker fired gun that isn't comp'd, the EMP shoots so much flatter and accurate with a MUCH better trigger. You give up the round capacity, but who cares if you can't hit you target in an adrenaline filled self defense situation. I still think having a back up polymer striker fired sub compact gun to carry isn't a bad idea. Am I making too big a deal about the risks of a comp on a carry gun? If so, I'm not sure anything out there beats the SS cr920p when looking at guns under $1000. Would love your thoughts.
Few things here: First, thank you for the support and happy to have you as a fan! Second, the EMP is a great choice But I wouldn’t worry one bit about the comp and muzzle flash, I have shot comps a lot at night and it’s no issue whatsoever even in pitch black. Third, wait until after the NRA show here in a few weeks, there is some really good stuff coming out from Shadow 💪
@@HuntFishShootChannel Oh hell yes. Can’t wait to see what’s coming out. Also, my other issue with SS was the concerns over reliability. Break in period aside, I read so many comments from people: either the gun was flawless or riddled with ongoing issues post break in. The DR920p seemed to have far fewer issues. Hopefully the cr920p is getting there too.
I made 19 build with a PSA lower and Aim surplus W3 slide with an 8 port barrel and that thing shoots flat af. spent like $280 on the gun and $110 on a redwin cobra sro type clone with a circle dot reticle . That gun shoot about as flat as my SSDR920P.
Man there’s a lot of salty people in this comment section….this is all opinion. He’s not trying to sell you anything he’s just giving his opinion. Man the gun community can be so toxic at times.
With the savings on the PSA you can buy a light and mags and still be at the price point of the the most other pistols if that size. Or buy two for the money you would spend on a Sig. my $0.02
Going to the 3 dot sights, I have the compact dagger, all black raised iron sights. The first time I took it out, I was at an indoor range, shooting a black silhouette target and the sights blended in and were Indisguishable. Pros and cons I guess.
The cr is a running a radian afterburner comp so it’s really not a true telling of how that pistol shoots without it. So the line comparison is a bit misleading….. while both pistols had a comp one is factory add on (psa) and the other is a performance mod that doesn’t come stock and is one of the best comps on the market.
@_Mr.Mayhem_ you are wrong. Thats not a radian product. That is a factory pistol and factory built comp from shadow systems. Complete package of the CR920P, look it up on the website. Nothing it misleading, its also part of the reason the CR cost more.
@@HuntFishShootChannel My biggest concern was PSA’s response of “Sand the inside of the magazine and the edges of the follower, maybe that will help” and then no response on returning. They just aren’t smooth flowing like a CR920 mag, Macro mag or even the G43X mag. Hopefully the get better.
So far I have about 600 rounds through my micro mag with both the 43x and the dagger C1 so far no issues at all, I’ve been carrying the dagger with just the oem glock mags till I get about 1000 rounds with no issues though.
The Micro Dagger seems to be a real sweet budget micro-compact. So far all the holsters I have for the G43/G43X also fit the Micro Dagger (especially the light-compatible holsters)... The only issue I have is the trigger, and that's not a big issue because I always upgrade the triggers. I'd even take a totally stripped Micro Dagger frame is they sold them.
The reality is that most people, given the chance or having the opportunity, would choose the expensive/luxury/exotic car, but there is nothing wrong with a reliable Honda Civic. Specially when Honda Civic is what you can afford. I hope my analogy made sense!
Considering getting the micro dagger, getting good with it maybe run some competitions with it, then upgrade to a shadow systems xr 920p later. Geeat vid
I picked up a complete dagger compact with suppressor height night sights, and a threaded barrel for 299 on a clearance sale. I feel like I stole the thing practically! I haven’t had any issues with PSA yet and I have one of their AR’s
Hey Mike, another great video! I’m not down with the PSA stuff so I have to run the shadow… stay safe ..! What’s with this dude about the shield plus comment?!?!😂
Haha oh you know just someone who has a love affair with whatever they have when they have used anything else. But I love the SS stuff and like I stated in the video, I would pick the CR920P! Thanks for watching as always!
I shoot double stack glocks, carry a g19 and conceal it well enough, but looking for something slimmer for comfort during summer time. I honestly don't like shooting the Glock 43x/48 after 4 or 5 mags (trigger dingus blisters my fingertip). I've considered the Micro Dagger due to the trigger shoe being the way it is in comparison to the slimline glocks, plus I just don't like slim guns anyway so I might as well spend less on it, assuming its reliable enough to actually conceal carry everyday.
I had the psa dagger compact it's a good gun I'd rather have the full size but I just bought the lfa falcon 9x and it's in the same price range I think that's the budget king
Already bought the 48x MOS, but now I'm wanting one of these. We'll see if the wife likes her Anniversary Kimber R7 Mako...otherwise the PSA will be the next.
I have 2 micros, complete c1 and bought the x1 slide faxon match barrel and comp. Absolutely 0 issues with the c1, but the x1 had a few metal flakes in the plunger channel causing trash trigger until I cleaned it out. 0 failure to fire or stove pipes on either. After 1k rounds on c1 and 500 on x1, down great guns but fkn hell ship them with 2 mags.....
Bro the sale right now u get a threaded gold nitrate barrel a ported slide. Red dot ready. And freaking 10 15 round mags. A bad. Metal sights. For about 450
I love PSA, but in my opinion that m&p gen 1 style hinged trigger is rnough to keep me from getting one. Its what i hated about the g19 size dagger. And i dont necessarily want to swap the factory trigger on my carry gun so i would have much preferred a flat trigger shoe directly from the factory
@@popupheadlights99% of all Glock trigger kits are OEM trigger bar behind a new shoe. Save the money and just replace the shoe. 90% of the take up is the trigger bar tab moving the disconnector button up (releasing the striker from the blocked position), the other 10% is the trigger bar friction against other parts in the firing motion. If you have heavy take up, check the tab for dragging on the slide. If it is dragging take a few thousandths off the top of the tab.
Check weekdays at about 2PM MST that’s when they restock may not stock the c-1 specifically but they will about 2 times a week I do also recommend just getting the full bundle with holosun included it’s a great deal.
You guys still liking that Micro Dagger C-1? I just built a comped Dagger compact and I am super happy with it after a couple hundred rounds. So obviously I have the itch to grab one of these now. 😅
My major problem with the CR 920 in general is the grip length. If I use the flush fit mags, my pinky hangs off, and I hate that. If I use the extended mags, The extended grip on the magazine adheres to my palm during magazine changes. I can’t drop the magazine free. I have to strip it. That means I have to change the way that I do my reloads when I train with that gun. I don’t like that for a carry gun. I want my carry gun to be as simple muscle memory as possible.
New subscriber I have the CR920. How does the Dagger micro C1 slide work on your P lower? A week after purchasing the CR, they released the P! I also own a 48MOS and the slide of the Glock works on the CR but not reverse. The Micro C1 slides are in stock more regularly than the whole gun.
I have not tried C-1 slide on the SS CR920 frame but if we do, I’ll let you know. For the price of the slide and frame for a micro dagger, it’s a low cost to try. Worst case scenario if the slide doesn’t work on your CR, you buy a Dagger Micro frame for it and still only out about 350 bucks total.
@HuntFishShootChannel I was able to grab the micro lower. The grip, and trigger under cut much better than oem glock. I am hoping SS sells full CR920P slides soon.
I don't live in a free state, so I'm forced to use 10-round magazines. It doesnt look like PSA sells anything under 15 rounds for the micro. What is a good alternative magazine? I've heard the OEM Glock 43x magazines have issues running in the dagger. IDK if this is true. Thank you to anyone who can answer this!
I am having a bad experience with my Micro Dagger. Gun didn't work. Sent it back. They fixed it (allegedly) but that was amonth ago and they haven't sent it back.
If the Micro was ambidextrous, I'd have bought it in an instant. Sadly, I'm left-handed, so I have to stick with Canik and Walther for EDC. PS: Currently carrying the Canik MC9
@caseysmith8831 that’s what it’s for a pop up light rain, breeze. Packs up super small into about the size of a pop can. if you are talking about prolonged rain fall, I’ll always recommend full blow rain gear.
I've had a couple PSA Daggers and had nothing but issues with them.Strikers broke on both of them,FTF and several light primer issues on one of them and the other one had a constant failure to go in to battery.after I sent them in to get repaired and got them back I took them to the local gun shop and traded them in.will never buy their crappy handguns again as they are almost as bad as SCCY.I will buy a Canik and even Taurus over PSA Dagger garbage
That shadow systems has the worst grip I’ve ever felt. I shot it one time and immediately sold it. The PSA micro Dagger is the complete opposite. Beautifully made grip. Feels perfect.
The SS grip on the edges was too sharp, not as rounded. When I shot it was so uncomfortable and after about 50 rounds it hurt my hands. The PSA grip is so comfortable in my hands. Doesn’t need stippling, just a great feel. I did replace the trigger and that made it much better

I have three daggers and a micro dagger slide that I’ve paired with my G43. All nice guns with zero issues (and I do like the grip textures). However with the CZ P10 C/S prices the way they are right now you can’t beat them for price/performance at $360.
Thanks for sharing!
And I’ve carried a G17 on duty for 20yrs, off duty G26, G27 and G30. Never had a misfire or stoppage with them.
Awesome review, I have found after purchasing the CR920P is picky on ammo selection and thats what made me get rid of it.
That hasn’t been our experience, but we did have a magazine issue which they quickly fixed by sending a new one out.
@@HuntFishShootChannel mine would have stove pipes and failure to eject. With Armscor, Winchester, mag tech and some other Cheaper ammo. Would run great with +P ammo though. I just seen the TH-camr 3 of 7 Project had the same experience also as mine in his video.
@danielplatt6875 thanks for sharing. There is a known or was a known nag issue which on the newest mags shouldn’t be an issue.
Blazer).
Plenty of better deals on the CR, went that route, solid carry.
Plus the warranty is outstanding
Super solid carry choice!
@@HuntFishShootChannel big improvement from the original hellcat 😂
@@joe-redacted yes it would be! Hahah the OG hellcat and RDP are still good options tho!
Few things here:
First, thank you for the support and happy to have you as a fan!
Second, the EMP is a great choice
But I wouldn’t worry one bit about the comp and muzzle flash, I have shot comps a lot at night and it’s no issue whatsoever even in pitch black.
Third, wait until after the NRA show here in a few weeks, there is some really good stuff coming out from Shadow 💪
@@HuntFishShootChannel
Oh hell yes.
Thanks again! The Micro Dagger would also serve as an excellent backup or ankle option and for ~$360 that's great value.
Perfect for that!
I have a CR920 so I would have to choose the Micro. With optic, it’s about $1k in the whole thing. You can get a Micro for half the cost.
Yeah you can
At first, thought it wss an unfair comparison, but i saw what you did there. I want something that im going to enjoy, cr920p is for me.
Thanks for watching! Glad you understood it!
Nice video. I’d love to see the dagger vs Glock comparison
There is not Glock to compare to this model but if we scoop is a 43x we can get a slide for this frame!
Great video as always!! Let me know when the dagger goes on your market! 😂
Hahah get on PSA 😂
I made 19 build with a PSA lower and Aim surplus W3 slide with an 8 port barrel and that thing shoots flat af. spent like $280 on the gun and $110 on a redwin cobra sro type clone with a circle dot reticle . That gun shoot about as flat as my SSDR920P.
Yeah budget build! Thanks for sharing
Man there’s a lot of salty people in this comment section….this is all opinion. He’s not trying to sell you anything he’s just giving his opinion. Man the gun community can be so toxic at times.
That is very true!!
Great deal and info!
👍👍👍 thanks for watching!
With the savings on the PSA you can buy a light and mags and still be at the price point of the the most other pistols if that size. Or buy two for the money you would spend on a Sig. my $0.02
Yeah we made that point in the video
Oh cool great comparison!
Thank you!
@@HuntFishShootChannel yes sir you're welcome
Love my dagger and Sabre ar. Zero issues.
Going to the 3 dot sights, I have the compact dagger, all black raised iron sights. The first time I took it out, I was at an indoor range, shooting a black silhouette target and the sights blended in and were Indisguishable. Pros and cons I guess.
I don’t want all black sights, but one dot on the front is ideal for me.
The recoil line did it for me.
Very telling isn’t it?
@@HuntFishShootChannel Yes. And kudos to you for the perfect back on target action.
@21089 thank you!
Both solid guns. I’ve had feeding issues with the Micro Dagger mags (likely first run) but hopefully they get better at making them in the future.
Heard some chatter of that, unfortunately we only had one to test but did just order some!
@dustyd6617 I haven’t heard that but that is concerning
Appreciate the review, thank you!
You are welcome!
The reality is that most people, given the chance or having the opportunity, would choose the expensive/luxury/exotic car, but there is nothing wrong with a reliable Honda Civic. Specially when Honda Civic is what you can afford. I hope my analogy made sense!
It definitely did and you are right!
Considering getting the micro dagger, getting good with it maybe run some competitions with it, then upgrade to a shadow systems xr 920p later. Geeat vid
Good idea! It’s a great little pistol 💪
I very much enjoyed the sights vs that mess you mentioned.
Roger that
I picked up a complete dagger compact with suppressor height night sights, and a threaded barrel for 299 on a clearance sale.
@@HuntFishShootChannel yeah I hear you, lol… love your channel, one of the best on TH-cam! Next to mine of course 😂👍
@@Healthyhealings thanks man!
Wow…Who knew it was good
Nicely done 👍
For sure! It’s a great pistol and seems, shoots more expensive than it is
@@HuntFishShootChannel yea i could tell that after you commented on how flat it shot and that the trigger was fine
was going to pick up a micro dagger slide. i picked up an x macro though and never looked back
When you break that micro in after 450 rounds? Runs like a 350 Chevy! Sweet
👍
I shoot double stack glocks, carry a g19 and conceal it well enough, but looking for something slimmer for comfort during summer time. I honestly don't like shooting the Glock 43x/48 after 4 or 5 mags (trigger dingus blisters my fingertip). I've considered the Micro Dagger due to the trigger shoe being the way it is in comparison to the slimline glocks, plus I just don't like slim guns anyway so I might as well spend less on it, assuming its reliable enough to actually conceal carry everyday.
I know the feeling! Thanks for sharing!
I had the psa dagger compact it's a good gun I'd rather have the full size but I just bought the lfa falcon 9x and it's in the same price range I think that's the budget king
Good to know!
Already bought the 48x MOS, but now I'm wanting one of these. We'll see if the wife likes her Anniversary Kimber R7 Mako...otherwise the PSA will be the next.
It’s a nice pistol and especially at its price point!
Shadow systems is King of Taming Recoil . I have the Dr 920 P Front sight stays out Front My favorite and i have enough to compare to .
Yes they are 💪
Get a speed loader, like a Maglula, some say Uplula. They sure work great for me. ✌✌✌✌✌
We’ve got a couple Uplulas now lol
Vid angles of trigger action is nice touch
💪💪💪
I have 2 micros, complete c1 and bought the x1 slide faxon match barrel and comp. Absolutely 0 issues with the c1, but the x1 had a few metal flakes in the plunger channel causing trash trigger until I cleaned it out. 0 failure to fire or stove pipes on either. After 1k rounds on c1 and 500 on x1, down great guns but fkn hell ship them with 2 mags.....
Hell yeah! Happy to hear it!
My shield plus looks and shoots just fine.
Good for you!
Cool?
🇺🇸
Thanks for watching! 🔥
Bro the sale right now u get a threaded gold nitrate barrel a ported slide. Red dot ready. And freaking 10 15 round mags. A bad. Metal sights. For about 450
Great deal!
I wonder if this video has anything to do with the bundle with a Dagger, a soft case, and 10 mags.
What up Mike, I’m sorry but I’m just not feeling PSA stuff… So I have to go with the shadow.. thanks brother for another awesome video.. be safe bro
I would go with the shadow systems also! No worries but for many people if they don’t want to spend the money the dagger micro is a great choice!
Couldn’t agree more, luckily this is definitely better than all the M and P hinged triggers
I kept the regular trigger internals on mine and just threw a new shoe on it and it’s pretty great the pull is great just didn’t like the hinge
@@popupheadlights that's a good idea and I hadn't considered it before
@@popupheadlights99% of all Glock trigger kits are OEM trigger bar behind a new shoe.
@@BobHammons-u3d that’s exactly what I did, I didn’t like the hinge, threw on a flat faced shoe and it’s a perfect trigger imo
Love shadow systems and also the way PSA micro dagger looks
For sure 👍
nice review! how did you get a C-1?! they seem to be sold out constantly.
Lots and lots of notifications set on the back in stock portion of every single model 😂 oh and quick fingers! We scooped this up just before SHOT Show
Check weekdays at about 2PM MST that’s when they restock may not stock the c-1 specifically but they will about 2 times a week I do also recommend just getting the full bundle with holosun included it’s a great deal.
Drop shadow slide on Glock 43x frame for bigger grip. Works great. Also it is American Made vs foreign.
All the guns in this video are American made.
The dagger is 90% of the performance for 45% of the price.
That’s a very good way of looking at it!
Taurus new line up is definitely competing. GX4 CARRY - GX4 XL
They do look relatively nice!
You guys still liking that Micro Dagger C-1? I just built a comped Dagger compact and I am super happy with it after a couple hundred rounds. So obviously I have the itch to grab one of these now. 😅
Yes it’s been a great pistol
Crazy idea, can I buy a micro frame and put it on my slide for my cr920? Basically I maybe able to make a cr920x lol
Not sure on that
Does anyone know if the CR920 trigger fit in the Micro Dagger?
My major problem with the CR 920 in general is the grip length. If I use the flush fit mags, my pinky hangs off, and I hate that. If I use the extended mags, The extended grip on the magazine adheres to my palm during magazine changes. I can’t drop the magazine free. I have to strip it. That means I have to change the way that I do my reloads when I train with that gun. I don’t like that for a carry gun. I want my carry gun to be as simple muscle memory as possible.
Sounds like you should carry a larger gun then
Can you swap the slides?
I don’t think so
Doesn't Shadow Systems Also have a foundation series that's like 200$ cheaper than the version shown?
Not for the P model. But they do for the regular CR920
For most people, they should save the money for shooting lessons and ammo
Sure should!
Do any of the upgraded Glock triggers work in this?
Yes there are aftermarket triggers
Bring on The Dagger 10 MM !
Great video Mike But hands down I have to go with the Shadow Systems CR920P. You get what you pay for.
I agree with you! 💪 thanks for watching!
Couldn’t say for sure on the Glock magazines
On the SS CR920P can you remove comp and use a suppressor? Haven’t seen a review with comp removed and suppressor.
You cannot do that
@ bummer, now I have to decide on CR or MR. Thank you
I am having a bad experience with my Micro Dagger. Gun didn't work. Sent it back. They fixed it (allegedly) but that was amonth ago and they haven't sent it back.
That is no good! Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
I already have the CR920. Would you say the CR920P is a big upgrade and worth it? Thanks!
Yes it definitely is, if you are looking for recoil reduction. I can’t say it’s a must have but it’s a significant difference
3-dot sight have never been my favorite but I don't mind. That "elbow" trigger shoe I've never like, actually hate them.
Will that psa slide fit on a 43x the way the cr920p does (I’ve done it and confirmed)
From what I have seen across the web, it does. I haven’t personally done this.
It indeed does have tried and confirmed I have the c-1 but I’m considering buying the non c1 slide to replace my OEM Glock slide on my 43x
Best light for this gun?
TLR7a sub
How do you like that vortex defender on the CR
I like them and they have a new updated one out now with a new emitter and auto shutoff at 10 min with no activity
Talon Grips work great on Micro Dagger
All the guns and shooting you do and you do not have an uplula? Lol great review
I went to buy one a month or so ago, but they only color they had was purple 🤣🤣
They are a thumb saver as I’m sure you already know
@jonn8163 at this point I might as well wearing a sewing thimble
If the Micro was ambidextrous, I'd have bought it in an instant. Sadly, I'm left-handed, so I have to stick with Canik and Walther for EDC.
PS: Currently carrying the Canik MC9
Hell yeah! Nothing wrong with that!
You are better off with the Canik and a Walther for sure
Great video thank you. Please tell your camera person to quit moving when filming close ups. That sway made it harder to watch.
Thank you and thanks for the input.
Very cool. Hey what jacket is that?
HRT Tactical Gear Windbreaker, it’s only like 35 bucks!
How would it do in a light rain?
@caseysmith8831 that’s what it’s for a pop up light rain, breeze. Packs up super small into about the size of a pop can. if you are talking about prolonged rain fall, I’ll always recommend full blow rain gear.
Rodger that
Sights on SS is also another 100$ upgrade dagger doesn't have.
Thanks for the information!
That shadow systems has the worst grip I’ve ever felt. I shot it one time and immediately sold it. The PSA micro Dagger is the complete opposite. Beautifully made grip. Feels perfect.
Curious why it was the worst grip you have ever felt. But glad you like the Dagger!
It's too rounded. I really like the grip on my p365 xl. However, the cr is my edc
The SS grip on the edges was too sharp, not as rounded. When I shot it was so uncomfortable and after about 50 rounds it hurt my hands. The PSA grip is so comfortable in my hands. Doesn’t need stippling, just a great feel. I did replace the trigger and that made it much better
@DanMaul-ip1is dang that sucks
360 with the red dot on it?
No 550 OTD with the dot
Im considering building a smaller version of my full size build... it might be worth it...
Sure could be
