Danny, you were a massive part of me getting back into collecting Pokémon TCG, have barely gone a day since I got back into it ~5 months back without watching at least one video of yours, just came across this and damn, so much appreciation for you and what you do!
Love the honesty and transparency in your videos Danny! You've convinced me that I definitely don't have the time and patience needed to sell my own bulk, so it'll be on its way to you soon! 🤣
It’ll usually help the focus if you hold your hand flat behind the card so the camera isn’t searching the background for focus and really only “sees” the card because your hand is now the background. Another great video, thank you for the honest and COMPLETE information yet again. You explain all of the relevant details that most usually just glaze over briefly if they talk about them at all. Appreciate all the videos, keep em coming!
You’ve encouraged me to give this a try! Pokémon is something I believe we all share as a passion. Now me finding that I can use my bulk cards as a way to bring in an extra bit of cash. That’s made my month. Will you make a video explaining the shipping process or even a way to get it all started? Thank you for your videos. I’m very grateful :)
Danny, Im so glad you have all this info out. I just started selling on TCG Player because of you but I was getting a little worried and wondered if selling at the "lowest" price like many others do would be worth my time. I cant thank you enough for the goldmine of info you have provided and continue to provide. I wish you nothing but the best in your business. I've been grinding a ton of hours trying to get my personal 5K bulk lot I've built over the last couple of years organized to try and sell to hopefully one day get enough capital to start my own brick and mortar store.
Love hearing the business side! Maybe a future video topic I'm curious about...what's a realistic amount you can make at X amount of hours per week. Potential income at 10 hours a week, 20, etc. Love the content, would really enjoy this as a side hustle!
It can rangeIt honestly depends on your knowledge and experience. Experience is the key factor and then comes application of knowledge which makes you more effective saving time allowing you to do more. The best way to know I’d say would be to track your hours/ the orders you make that go out. That being said when you start it will be pretty as for how much you make since you’re learning the process. Shipping is where you can get into a bind. Thinking about is only a motion take action and you’ll know if it’s worth it for you
Your growth is amazing. I love and relate to your content. I doubt I can open a shop like yourself but understanding the mindset is great knowledge that can be applied to any self owned business.
I've seen a few of your videos, enjoyed the content, but this one made me sub. This shows VOLUMES about who you are and your character. Willing to help the rest of the community and keep us going. Great content, great work, great breakdown, keep it up man!
Great job sir, just found your channel and appreciate the common sense advice you offer to folks just starting out in the Pokémon card business. My family and I are trying our hand at it and have found your channel to be such a valuable resource. Keep it up man, you’re making a difference.
Thank you for saying this! I did my first 62 card, penny-a-card sale before watching this just to get rep on TCG player. It was not worth it. I ended up making an Excel sheet and finding my cost to sell different volumes of cards in one transaction. The takeaway I got from this exercise was that the lowest I can sell a card for is 36 cents, because if a buyer only wants 9 or 10 cards, then I only make one penny on that transaction after my cost of shipping materials and postage is accounted for. At 25 cents, I'm only profitable if I selling 1, 2, or more than 15 cards at once.
Hey Danny. I subscribed yesterday. Been giving all videos a thumbs up. You’re awesome man, authentic always wins and you will be 10x bigger soon enough.
Hey just wanted to say as someone getting back into tcg cards your videos like this have help me learn on how to make money back so that i can spend it again on more cards. Thanks lol
I have a shit ton of base set 2 energy and trainer cards. If the trainers aren't in the meta rn then I can surely get rid of the energy. This video was very informative. Thank you!
Super helpful info Danny! I am working on getting my shop up and running again. Also have been making pack opening videos! The $0.25 per card makes total sense.
Been enjoying the videos they've been really entertaining and helpful. Just preordered a Vivid Voltage Booster box from your store too can't wait to get it!
hi danny , i watched your previous video about how to sell pokemon singles consistently. And you talked about that you should learn the meta game etc. I like to ask you if you can make a video about it how you research the metagame, what sources you use to research on it, how a card is good for tournaments etc.
Could you please make a best/cheapest shipping method video! For single cards and bulk orders. Show how to not lose money shipping bulk if you only sell 10 .25 cent cards or is this something where you have to take the loss? Thank you :)!
I just stumbled onto your account-after this video finishes i’ll look but if not any chance you can create a specific playlist on your channel timeline wise so i can watch ur building a pokemon business in order? 🤘🏻
I seen a plug on the colloseum and the guy said Danny is decent on bulk prices and made me think was this you? Sure was too. Cool as I'm looking for a trusted source to sell
I do 25 random mtg commons or 10 Pokémon cards in random packs for $1 each and sell quite a few. Win for consumer for getting cheap cards and saves me from having to store too much bulk.
@@gildalraen2742 would be nice to make a little money back from all spent though! Just dunno if that would be worth it unless you buyed bulk! Guess I am having buyers remorse with some bad luck pulls! 🤣
@@missycalhoun6319 I totally get that! I went through a phase of missing opening cards (but I want the old school 90s ones back) and bought some. I think it can be worth it but you have to give it time to grow.
This is some really solid content! Any quick advice on shipping cards? I'd love to dip my toe into selling cards, but seems a potential spot that can really mess up profits.
Yes shipping cards is normally the big problem. If it’s a single card and not an expensive card send it with a stamp in an envelope.(cheapest way) If it’s multiple cards and/or an expensive card send it in a bubble mailer as a package as it comes with tracking
I have 7500 cards in bulk all seperated out. No energies in there. I have them seperated out in stacks of 250. Same with my trainer cards. I have around 1750 trainer cards
I live in Toronto and i have a bunch of old pokemon cards i want to sell. There are some good cards in there such as charizard mewtwo and lugia, although the are not in mint condition. What is the best place to sell these cards for the best value?
Hey. Can you make a video on how to ship. From singles to pin box sizes. That would be very helpful. Also I follow you on ig too. Trynna make sure you grow.
love how u are teaching rather than telling ppl just to sell their bulk to u for 3 cents a card as a lot of guys would be saying

Danny: By spending 5 hours every night passionately sorting, selling, and shipping trainer cards!

Awesome video man. Let me ask you this, if someone buys 10+ cards from you how do you ship them? all in individual sleeves or?
Hey dude. I find 10 cards fit in a penny sleeve nicely with no budge. I use them in a cardboard envelope hope that helps!
@@Flooba Awesome thank you!
@@Flooba I almost do the same I'll sandwich them between 2 toploaders and then seal them in a teambag after the penny sleeve of course
Always penny sleeve cards. Top loaders optional.

Getting another bulk stacked up for 3,500 to send you. Just waiting for the email about a tracking number for the last bulk I sent in.

Cool vid. Just subscribed.
I'd be interested to know how your ship single cards that aren't worth much.
Thanks for the video man it really helps alot
Do you have a video on how to spot a fake vintage holos?
Hmmm I can’t find anything within the margins I would need. Going through quite a lot of cards too.
Wait. We can't ship in a plain envelope anymore?
do some sellers list fully built decks on the limitless site?
“20 to 30 orders a night,no big deal” IM SORRY WHAT
Is the $0.25 rule still applicable now?
