@@thaimafia9 yup, they didn't really respond well to the Covid conditions whereas other teams all played in the same place and Device was preoccupied with his Swedish girl so started living in Sweden and moved to NIP because he didn't wanna travel to Denmark for matches and that was that. I honestly think if Covid never hit Astralis and Device had a Danish girlfriend instead they would have won 1-2 more majors in the last few years, possibly more. Shame, the greatest to do it, kinda lost interest in pro CS since.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll see an Astralis dominant powerhouse again at least not for a long time or even in this version of CS:( The roster was something special. Once you start taking bits and pieces away (first device moving to sweden and joining NiP, then dupreeh, magisk, and zonic going to Vitality) its hard to be back to #1 when you're missing key components. Glaive is an amazing IGL and Xyp9x is a great support rifler, but they're missing the other great players they had who could keep up and help throw off the pace of the game for the enemy team.
All of these aren't from that time but their "era" in 2018 was crazy, watching any tournament you knew if Astralis was playing they were going to win, no doubt at all. Worst one was Kato 19 which was a great major, interesting storylines and the underdogs of Ence but of course no one cares because Astralis obliterated them in the finals
gla1ve is the greatest IGL of all time. his method of CS was perfection. Astralis at their peak could beat anyone at anytime with defaults. They were the perfect team.
Yeah gla1ve is criminal mastermind of CS literally. My fav team of all time. I started watching FaZe after Astralis fall apart, but this Astralis squad will be forever the best csgo team.
