I really admire Astralis and how good they are as a team, but I recent events, they seem to have fallen a little behind. What with the roster change and such, but they are still a damn good team

They seem to be missing a lot of shots, especially dupreeh on the AWP. I think they'll be in pretty good form during the upcoming LAN tourney in Cologne because they had a month's break to figure their shit out.
Peak Astralis had the best individually skilled players who gelled smoothly as a team. They effectively used their utility setting one another for success. Too bad dev1ce had to leave, but this team will be the greatest team in CSGO history.
They wont be the greatest forever if Gambit keep playing like they are now, if gambit still destroys everyone on lan without any competition whats however they should undoubtedly be the greatest team ever. But they will most likely start falling off ones we go back to lan.

Astralis had an era no one will likely ever repeat. They went through thick and thin to reach the top of the world for such a long period of time. Defeating super teams like faze, certified legends in sk and winning a major against the virtus plow. This team is one for the books.
They beat VP who were still at their prime. The stopped the unstoppable plow. They took down legends and became legends themselves. A super team made to win couldnt do the same they did. The cs god himself, Simple couldn't do it.
Just the amount of time they were at the top is insane. Look at the landscape now, it fluctuates between Gambit,Heroic,Navi. Astralis held a lead of like hundreds of HLTV points for almost two straight years.
@@TheMCricket Unfortunately, much like with any dominant team in every sport, they eventually fell off either due to lack of motivation or just the competition becoming more skilled. Also, Counter Strike is a game afterall. It experiences changes from updates and patches. Some patches made it so that certain strategies that Astralis played were no longer viable, thus ending their long standing supremacy.
Coming back to watch this video again after the news about magisk, Dupreeh and Sonic, just hurts they have achieved so much this truly is the end of an era, it was amazing to see this journey and i wish all of them luck in the future

I love how you can see how much the org helped the players with their new physical and mental preparation. Dupree and Kjaerbye lost so much weight and became so much fitter when compared to the early days. Truly the best team of all time, both in game and outside. Great job from the entire org

The era of TL vs Astralis will probably be my favorite in CS:GO history. Incredible counter strike & incredible teams that had so much personality. Was so much fun to watch.
I always liked Astralis' matchups against Fallen's SK team. Those matches were real nail-biters at times and SK had excellent protocols for retaking sites back then.

Watching this for the 10th time and it still amazes me how this astralis line up revolutionaried CS:GO in all shapes and forms. Amazing individual skills, even better team play and even more the utility usage. Still one of my most favourite teams of all time.
Goosebumps. Arguably the best team ever and constantly in the lead of the meta of the game. Their utility usage and teamwork defined the scene for years. The use of sports psychologists and physical training also ushered in a new standard for the pro scene.

As a guy that started watching tournaments regularly only at the end of 2019, astralis were the absolute rock and 1# almost every tournament, and this unbelievable consistency made me hate them so much because I always cheer for the underdogs. When I got to the part where they won their first major in the video I was so happy to see how excited they are after all the losses, and almost felt regret for hating astralis the past years. Almost.

I wish the video would include more of what Astralis did to change how pro cs:go is played overall, I know that would make the video way longer, but I think it's the fact how every pro team tried to learn for example Astralis utility and nuke strategies shows the most how truly dominant Astralis were (and are) as a team to the pro league.

Astralis truly represented what a team should be. It was less of a roster of indivisuals and more of a brothers in arms. dupreeh, device and xyp9x were together for so long, gla1ve and zonic forming the team structure and magisk filling the last piece of the puzzle to make one hell of a team.
Astralis fan or not, the opening edit can get any true CSGO fan hyped. Amazing work.

I wish the video would include more of what Astralis did to change how pro cs:go is played overall, I know that would make the video way longer, but I think it's the fact how every pro team tried to learn for example Astralis utility and nuke strategies shows the most how truly dominant Astralis were (and are) as a team to the pro league.

Astralis truly represented what a team should be. It was less of a roster of indivisuals and more of a brothers in arms. dupreeh, device and xyp9x were together for so long, gla1ve and zonic forming the team structure and magisk filling the last piece of the puzzle to make one hell of a team.
